1970 Ford Torino GT Convertiable

The motor and transmission were changed about 11 years ago, ame type but not number matching. This was a project car when I bought it, just took it a bit further. The previous owner told me the motor has 5K miles on a rebuilt 351C motor. The heads are 2V but have been machined for pedestal rocks, here is a comp cam in it. Electrical fuel pump, lectric water pump, luminum radiator, igh output alternator, ower steering and the brand new convertible top works. Lots of autometer gauges ( tach, peedo, uel, il temp, il press, ater temp, acuum, ylinder head temps, oltage, rans temp) They all work except the speedo. New battery. The previous owner told me the C6 transmission was rebuilt with a 2K stall converter. It had not been started for 8 years before I got it. It starts and runs now but needs tuning. It has shaved door handles and the locks for the doors and trunk are worked by a hidden button and a remote for drivers door. There is a stack of paperwork and manuals, riginal steering wheel. With a bit more work this car could be a lot of fun but I just don’t have the time to take it the rest of the way. The body is clean but there is paint cracking and some chips and the original color was red.
