Up for auction is a very clean rar, ust free 1979 Ford F350 140" wheelbase truck. If you know about these trucks,you know,they were built on the HD chassis. They used a special frame, ear axle, nd bed. This is the one with the spare tire mounted on the side, s seen in the pics. These trucks were originally designed for the 12ft campers of the day, hen people could still ride in the camper. That changed in the mid 1970's, hey were called Super Camper specials, here was also a Trailer special option. This truck is the F350,but without the camper or trailer package, aking it far more rarer than even those! The #9900 GVW came with larger rear rims, .75-16.5. This truck runs a set of 33-12.50-16.5 tires now, nd fronts are 6.75-16.5 with 9.50-16.5 tires.
This is a one owner truck, a friend of mines uncle, ho passed last year. He bought new in Califonia. 10-10-1979. He checked the 1980 models, nd found them not to be as heavy of a truck,and the 460 was no longer avalible, o, e searched hard to find this one ( no internet inthose days! )It has a strong 460 engine auto trans, nd HD dana 70 rear axle. The GVW on this truck is #990, he heaviest on a pickup at the time. The orighinal window sticker is present,as is the warranty card,and all the day 1 paperwork. Strong running, uite 460, ll stock,down to the original muffer, nd tailpipe!, ecent carpet, nd rear tires. The heater, ll lights and wipers work as they should.
Things to know; slight rip on drivers entry of seat, ent on right front fender, nd left rear fender near wheelwell. This truck does NOT have a radio, s seen by the delete panel.
