Exterior
Thunderbird presents very well. Car has been repainted but was very well done. There are a few spots where the paint has been touched up but matches well. There are only a couple of minor dings in the body, o major repairs or body filler found. Trim and chrome are original and some light scrapes in places can be found. One scuff at the corner of the bumper can be seen. We believe we’re the first to lower the top in over 20 years, here is some light staining where the convertible top seal was resting on the painted body. Top is original and shows some wear at edges but is in good shape overall. Rear window has yellowed from age.
Interior
Original interior is in great shape. Some scuffing can be found on the drivers trim piece at the base, ome light staining can be found on the carpet in front of the rear seats. Some light surface rust can be found in the “trunk” area but no signs of rusting through.
Mechanical
Engine starts easily and runs well. Transmission shifts as it should and brakes stop well. No surprises from steering or suspension. Passenger rear window is not working, otor appears to have failed. Convertible top mechanism is operating slower than it should, ikely it needs some new grease and possibly a top off of hydraulic fluid but all relays and switches are operating.
This Thunderbird was purchased by the original (and current) owner in Sacramento and has been very well kept. This is truly a survivor car and a great driver.
