One of a Kind – Over $125,000 Custom Build – 1965 Ford Mustang Fastback
If you are looking for an original 1965 Mustang, his is not your car. If you’re looking for the best custom build money can buy, t a fraction of what was originally spent, his is your car. If you need to be the guy with the only one ever made, his is your car.
We found this car at a local estate and instantly knew that it was something very special. Unfortunately a lot of the details and motivations will forever remain a secret. However, e do know that at least three different local custom builders all participated in its creation as we have documents and receipts totaling over $125,000, ot including the price of the car itself, o back that up. Beyond that, e know very little other than what the receipts and our eyes tell us. It seems the owner wanted the baddest, oolest, astest, 5 Mustang around, nd he had no issues spending the money necessary to get it. This car is not for novices. It has less than 1,400 miles on it since it was completed.
What’s custom on this Mustang? Everything. The engine is a blueprinted, ustom-built 347 stroker, hat we’re guessing is making north of 450 HP. It’s matched to a short-shifting 5-speed Tremec transmission using a hydraulic clutch with a SFI scatter shield. The rear-end is a nodular iron 9 inch with Detroit locker and is geared for performance. This thing moves. If MPG is your thing, his is not your car.
Some other features of this 1965 custom-build Mustang include:
Four-point roll bar with six-point Simpson racing harnesses
Four wheel Wilwood disc brakes
Welded in sub-frame connectors
Power rack and pinon steering
Custom race suspension with Koni shocks
Completely insulated with Dynamat
Stainless steel 2½ inch exhaust
Procomp Phantom instrumentation
Custom Painless wiring throughout the Mustang
Hidden battery disconnect
Trunk mounted battery
Shelby-style Crager wheels with custom spinners
We have gone through this Mustang, ontacted the builders, nd everything works as it should. This is a no excuses car. And you will be the only one with one like it.
