Description

This truck has been a great ride and a lot of fun. However, just purchased a crew-cab family truck, o this one has to go. I bought it two years ago to have as a go-to for around town and for car shows. Over the last 2 years I have gone through and made this a clean, eliable, nd fun truck to drive. Since buying I have:
-Put in new exhaust manifolds
-replace the starter and starter relay.
-replaced rear brakes
-replaced rear differential gasket
-put in a bed liner
-replaced the steering column wire harness
-replaced the brake master cylinder
-put on new chrome bed rails.
-replaced horn relay
-replaced steering column coupler
-replaced fuel lines
-replaced fuel senders
-replaced fuel filler hoses
-replaced fuel pump
The truck is clean, as original paint, nd gets a lot of looks and waves going down the road. Mechanically it is very sound and has nothing wrong with it. I drove it to work all last week on the highway and it is smooth as can be. It is licensed as a classic vehicle, o you never have pay for tabs again (in the state of Washington). A great truck for car shows too! It's amazing how many people tell me they used to have an F-250 just like this one and wish they wouldn't have gotten rid of it. I guess you can add me to the list! Unfortunately, y family of four cannot fit in this old classic.
Engine is 390 V8 with an automatic C6 transmission.
93,000 miles
Power steering
Power brakes
2 gas tanks
Dual exhaust
Spare tire
Chrome American Racing wheels
2wd*Engine was rebuilt with 86,000 miles on it. It runs impeccably. I have the previous owner's receipt from rebuild.

What's wrong: Nothing Mechanically- Windshield needs replaced (I have a brand-new rubber for new glass)- Dash pad is cracked - it is a reproduction. New dash pads cost about 100 bucks.- Needs new Antenna (costs 20 bucks on-line. I may do this soon anyway)- The back gas tank fuel sender is not reading. It did about 6 months ago. The tank still sends fuel, ut it is not sending the signal to the gas-gauge to tell how much fuel is left in the tank. Fortunately there are two tanks, o I always keep fuel in the other tank when running off the back tank.

I bought the truck from a man who garaged it for 36 years. He bought it from the original owner in 1978. It comes with original shop manuals. I am only the 3rd owner of this truck.
