1987 Ford Bronco "TIME CAPSULE"
Thanks for taking the time to check out my stock originalSURVIVOR Bronco. This is definitely one of the nicest Broncos I have seen in this vintage. This is a completely rust free rig! This belonged to a local farming family for many years and was used as the "go to town, o to church, rocery getter." My friend acquired it from the original owners but didn't think through where he was going to store it, nd due to indoor storage space constraints, t is now up for sale. It was obviously well cared for and the pride of ownership shows everywhere on it. I have been told that the top has never even been removed. You could be the first to drive this one as an open top!
This is acool oldclassic! It has beautiful timeless body lines and style while still boasting modern conveniences such as air conditioning and fuel injection. Speaking of air conditioning, t still works very well and blows ice cold! Other features included with the XLT trim package are power windows that function properly, ower locks work properly, ilt wheel, ower steering, ruise control, nd the stereo has been updated to a newer aftermarket CD player. The tachometer works only sometimes, o I will be disclosing it as inoperable. Although, n the pictures below, ou can see it was working and will work sometimes. All of the other gauges like fuel, oltage, peedometer, tc. work properly and have no issues. All of the interior lights, auge cluster, tereo etc. work as they should.
Cosmetically, his rig is in absolutely amazing condition. It really is THAT NICE! The interior shows very little wear and is in impeccable condition throughout. The only visible flaw that I have found on the interior isa smallloose piece of trim on the drivers door and is shown in the pictures below. It would be a very easy fix, ust needs to be repaired or secured better. Again, am being extremely picky to find flaws on this one. Carpet is in very nice shape and shows less than normal wear for this vehicle. The seats and upholstery are in very nice condition with very little wear and are in great shape. The seat framing and cushion condition are fantastic and show very minimal wear. The console is in exceptional condition. The dash and plastic trim pieces are all in great shape. The glass isall in good shape and free from any cracks, nly minor pitting on windshield asto be expected on any used vehicle. Overall, itting inside this Bronco feels like a blastfrom the past. It looksSO NICE that it is very hard to imagine that it is almost 30 years old!
This Broncohas the 5.0Liter 302 V8that runs very smooth and delivers nice power. In my opinion, this is one of the best motors ever builtby Ford.It fires right up on acold start and runs very smooth. No weird sounds, moke, r anything of that nature. This one runs fantastic and is ready for your weekendescape to the beach, ishing, kiing, r just good old fashion adventure. It has an automatic transmission that shifts firm yet smooth as it should. All gears shift well and perform flawlessly. The transfer case is a floor shift style thatshifts in/out properly and 4WD works as it should. This Bronco drives absolutely amazing and gets attention all the time! The tires are brand new with 0 miles on them other than shooting pictures and coming back from the tire store. While driving down the road there is no pull to one side or the other. There is no shimmy or vibration. Absolutely no unwelcome surprises on this one, o bid with confidence!
The Bronco has been in Oregon all of its life and we have a very mild climate. No harsh Winters andwe do not saltthe roads. This is why Oregon rigs are some of the most highly sought after in older vehicles. You do not have the rust worries like cars from other parts of the country. Please take the time to study all of the photographs of the door jams, nner tailgate, nd other rust prone areas. This is a RUST FREE original survivor that you will notfind very often. The undercarriage and chassis are in great rust free shape. The exterior of the body has no rust. The body and paint on this are simply unbelievable. One of the straightest Broncos I have ever seen. There are only a couple of super minor flaws I will bring to your attention. The drip rails on both sideshave the standard stress cracks that are very common on these. Every one I have ever seen has these and are a minor flaw that they all seem prone to. Thereare some minor rock chips that have been touched up on the hood and fenders from being driven, ery small and to be expected on just about anything that is not brand new. On the tailgate the original factory rub sticker is still in place where the tire rack swing rubber bushing touches the tailgate. It looks like a blemish in the pictures but is just the original protective film from the factory. Thefelt stripsaround the windows show a little age and are cracking some. The other flaw is a bb sized dimple on the tailgate aluminum trim piece. Honestly, he pictures make the flaws look worse than they do in person and I should have put something next to the bb ding to show how small it really is. I have shot close up pictures of both of these for you to study below.
There are many pictures below with close ups, ifferent angles, iews, nd like they say, picture is worth 1000 words. So study the pictures below, eel free to ask any questions you may have. I am in Salem Oregon and would be happy to show you or your representativethe Bronco if you would like to fly in or view in person.
