Description

Selling because I want to upgrade for heavier hauling. Have purchased a newer truck.

Here are the details

1.Exterior, here are a few dents. notice the front bumper has a dent on passenger side, nd middle. the rear drivers side bed has a dent. The top of the bed rail holes are damaged in front. the area where the bed meets the bottom of the cab on both sides is rusted out but has been patched but not sanded or finished. The bottom of the drivers door is rusted at the seam but is invisible from the exterior. The mirror on the passenger side... the glass itself is loose.

2.Power items. The power windows work, oor locks are weak and work intermittently. The power does go to all the doors but the lock just don't all pop. This truck has a trailer break controller. The power seats work, ower mirrors work. it used to have remote start but I have never used it and I do not now how to make it work or if all the components are still present.

3. The 4wd worked as of last spring. Iused it just before a camping trip (I didn't use it very often) and I couldn't get it out of 4wd for my trip.A ford dealer told me it was the Jem module (sp?), ut I think it is a vacuum problem. The motor was disconnectedand they took it out of 4wd so I could go on my trip. I doubt its the jem module since I replaced that shortly after I bought the vehicle. (the jem module is currently disconnected but present)The motor is there and likely works. The automatic hubs were changed for manual hubs which again worked. to put it in 4wd the hubs must be manually changed and then the switch switched. Someone who knows what they are doing can fix this quickly with little effort.

4. Interior- we don't smoke but there have been some guys that have smoked in it. if you care it doesn't smell like smoke. The seats have normal staining. but are unripped and the back seat is in nice condition. overall the interior is pretty nice. the dash isn't cracked and the seats are in pretty good shape. they are cloth. the headliner is nice and is in tact.

5. The engine starts strong and this truck has run very well for me. It does need a tune-up. Specifically it needs plugs as it runs with a miss when you give her gas though it idles fine. Most of the coil packs have been replaced the last 2-3 years. 3 of them the last 3 months.

Its a 99' truck so no one is looking at this thing expecting perfection. But it isn't a bad truck. feel free to emailwith any questions Robertwll@aol.com
