The car has a recently fully rebuilt transmission @ 98k miles- These cars usually need transmission rebuilds or replacement around 100k miles, o you have nothing to worry about now. ($2400)
I bought the car with almost 99k miles. I purchased it from a local who kept it super clean and had every record and receipt for all work and maintenance done. Since then we have kept it extra well maintained and fully serviced every six months full tune up. I have all paperwork. My wife used this car to and from work almost exclusively and she works 4 miles away. So we have only put about 10k miles on it and that's including one recent trip to Maryland over the summer and twice to New York. Have two sets of keys and manual. Only used premium gasoline and changed oil like clockwork every 2k miles using only castrol syntec full synthetic or mobile 1. I have had only one mechanic for all routine maintenance and repairs. Had two FULL tune ups in the last 10 months- the first when I bought it and again in June. All New belts, oses, attery, lternator, otors turned, ouble platinum spark plugs, ilters, tc. 85% tread remaining on all season tires, ew Bosch wipers.
