1968 Ford Torino GT Fastback 390 4speed car!
390 Ford Big Block "FE" motor with new 650cfm Demon 4 barrel carburetor.Rebuilt 4 speed top loader manual Transmission from ADCO Ford parts in North Arkansas.
Black interior with reupholstered bucket seats and rear bench seat. New steering wheel. New Floor pans and passenger side rockpanel (all welded in properly - pics available). New Hurst shifter kit. New chrome wheel trim kit. Car was painted with Summit Racing's Boss Blue paint. Car has NO BONDO! Small amounts of body skim used but kept to a minimum. Not shown on the car is the rear decklid chrome trim... we recently acquired it and its in great shape and it will come with the car.
The original crossmember for the engine carriage was damaged. We cut it out and replaced it with new thicker steel.
Car was born in Atlanta, eorgia in 1968. Originally a "Y" code paint color. This is an original "S" 390/4spd car. I made the door VIN tag available in pics. We made sure the door VIN matched the fender frame VINs and the Dash VIN.
We are missing just a few pieces to the car : 1) the chrome trim around each taillight. 2) Driver's side window chrome trim 3) the panel at the end of the shifter console that meets the dash( we installed carpet to cover it for now. ) 4) This was an A/C car, ut we only had the A/C box under the dash and nothing else, o we did not install the A/C on the car.
