THIS CAR BELONGED TO OUR LATE FATHER,AND IS PART OF HIS ESTATE. UNFORTUNATELY WE KNOW LITTLE ABOUT IT OTHER THAN THE OBVIOUS AND THAT IT HAS BEEN RATED ON A DYNO AT 550 HP. HE DID NOT TAKE SHORT CUTS ON ANYTHING AND PRIDED HIMSELF ON HAVING THE BEST.SHE HAS BEEN SITTING IN A CLIMATE CONTROLLED GARAGE FOR ALMOST TWO YEARS BUT FIRED RIGHT UP WITHOUT A CHARGE TO THE BATTERY. THE CAR SOUNDS LIKE THE EARTH IS GOING TO CRACK OPEN IT IS BAD TO THE BONE.WE HAVE TESTED EVERYTHING AND THE ONLY THING WE NOTICED IS THAT THE WINDOWS STRUGGLE A LITTLE TO THE POINT WHERE WE WANTED TO HELP THEM ALONG A LITTLE. WE REMEMBER THEM WORKING MORE EFFICIENTLY WHEN IT WAS PUT AWAY. THIS MAY IMPROVE WITH TIME,THE THINGS WE KNOW. ARE THAT THIS HAS BEEN FAMILY OWNED SINCE NEW SO THE MILEAGE IS 100% ORIGINAL. IN 2010 THE COMPLETE DRIVE TRAIN WAS OUT OF THE CAR AND IT RECEIVED EXTENSIVE WORK TO THE BLOCK AND PISTONS AND A MATCHED SET OF PERFORMANCE ALUMINUM HEADS THAT WERE ALL WORKED TOGETHER. WE HAVE NO IDEA WHAT CAM IT HAS BUT IT REALLY THUMPS.THE VORTEC SUPERCHARGER, EADERS, ND OTHER EXTERNAL COMPNENTS ARE OBVIOUS AND WORKIN PERFECT HARMONY.HE HAD A SENIOR MOMENT AND ATTEMPTED NITROS WHICH NEVER CAME INTO FRUITION. NOT SURE HE WOULD KNOW WHAT TO DO WITH IT ANYWAY. HE WAS MORE INTO JUST HAVING THE HORSEPOWER AND CHALKING IT UP WITH HIS BUDDIES, HEN CRUISING IT LIKE A NORMAL CAR. WITH THAT SAID HE DEFINITELY KNEW HOW TO SET UP A CAR AND WE HAVE SEEN HIS THRILLING MOMENTS.HE REMOVED THE TRANSMISSION THAT WAS IN IT WHEN THE ENGINE WAS OUT AND REPLACED IT WITH A HIGH PERFORMANCE TREMEC TRANSMISSION, VERY BEEFY CLUTCH AS WELL AS AXLE AND PERFORMANCE GEAR UPGRADES.IT HAS A VERY NICE LARGE DIAMETER EXHAUST TO THE TAILPIPES.OTHER THAN THAT WE HOPE THE PICTURES SPEAK FOR THEMSELVES,DRIVE CAREFULLY :)
