Body & Paint: This is an ALL original steel body that hasn't been cut up, odified, r altered. The front and rear fenders along with the running boards are also steel. It is solid and rust free with all body panels fitting very well. It was repainted before I purchased the vehicle. The paint has a deep shine and still looks pretty good with only having a few small imperfections. The worst being a crack/chip on the driver's door. (See close up photo #34) The paint color is called "Royal Maroon" which was a factory 1969 Ford color. Vinyl stripes. The vehicle also comes with a 2-piece bra protector for the front fenders. Chrome & Trim: The back bumper has nice chrome with no scratches. I do not run a front bumper, ut have it and it's in good condition. All of the stock "Deluxe" chrome and stainless steel trim pieces are in good condition. Interior: The maroon and gray interior is in real nice shape. There is no signs of any wear on the seats. The door panels are in good condition. The gray carpet on the bottom sections of the door panels have been re-dyed since the photos were taken and they look good. The car has three sets of lap seat belts installed. The gauges along with the clock are working. The odometer/speedometer is not connected because of different gears in the rear end. (Too far off from being correct.) A high end Alpine AM/FM/CD stereo system was installed along with two 200 watt amps, wo 10" 300w subwoofers, nd a 6 disk CD changer. It was professionally installed using heavy gauge wires along with protection fuses. This audio system and the rest of the vehicle is powered by two(2) Optima yellow top batteries that are stored behind the seat. It has a wooden steering wheel with a tilt column. Engine Compartment: The engine compartment is highly detailed. Under the hood sits a 383 "Stroker" V8 Chevy engine that was built by Performance Chevrolet Products in Phoenix, rizona. It starts, dles and runs great. See the "Mechanical" section below for more details on this engine along with the other driveline components. The engine compartment is finish is a gloss black color. Trunk Compartment: The trunk is clean and in good shape. It is fitted with side and rear panels. The trunk was a 3ft neon purple tube light installed. Behind the rear panel are the two 10" subwoofers. The vehicle doesn't have a spare tire. Glass: All of the tinted glass is in good condition. There are no cracks, hips, r scratches. The side windows roll up and down without any problems or issues. Wheels & Tires: The aluminum wheels are American Racing (AR39). All four are in excellent condition without any curb scratches or other problems. The tires are in great shape with pretty of tread. Front: P195/60R15 Rear: P235/75R15 Undercarriage: Rust free and very solid body, ndercarriage and frame. The chassis is very clean. lt only got caught in the rain twice over the last 19 plus years. Nine times out of ten, eople selling a car would not talk about or take any photos of the underside. The undercarriage tells you a lot about the car, hat is why there are a few pictures of the bottom in the photo gallery. Please view them all and see why this vehicle is better then most. Mechanical: Engine / Transmission / Rear End: Again, his 383 "Stroker" engine was built, alanced and blueprinted. (350 cu. in. 4-Bolt main.) It was bored and stroked and is gear driven. High end, uality components were used. 76cc World Products S/R cylinder heads. Nothing was spared. 600cfm Holley carburetor with vacuum secondaries sits atop an aluminum intake manifold. MSD ignition, AL coil and a distributor that was converted to electronics. The engine puts out over 400HP. Polished aluminum valve covers and oil pan. Ceramic coated headers. The transmission is a 350 automatic with a shift kit and a 2000 stall converter. It shifts out nice without any slipping or other problems. The rear end is a 10 bolt Chevy which is not a locker. No problems with the rear end also. Brakes: Chevy drum brakes on all four corners. (Non power) The brakes are working great. There is no pulsating, ading, ulling or noise. Suspension: The front suspension was upgraded with a pre 1970 Camaro subframe. It is in good shape with no issues. The rear suspension has leaf springs. Exhaust: Stainless steel exhaust from the headers back. These 2.5" pipes feed into SuperTrapp mufflers that are tuneable. The vehicle sounds great with just the right amount of rumble.
