When this 1964 Ford Fairlane (with 4 doors) rolled off the assembly line in June of 1964 it had no idea that 60,000 miles later it would be "recycled" into a 2 door Ford roadster. After going through an 8 month recycling phase the original 289 Ford engine & transmission was removed from this rust free car by the second owner and replaced with a 1992 fuel injected 3.8L Thunderbird engine & transmission, enceforth the name "Thunderlane."
The bottom side of the car has been detailed for show and looks as good as the top side. All of the body, aint, nd mechanical work was done by an "Old School" Hot Rodder with 20+ years experience building hot rods and classic cars. Built for "Show & Go" this unique custom has won many Awards at major shows on the East Coast. Since retiring from the show circuit Thunderlane has been enjoying weekend cruising, hows & cruise-ins. If you enjoy "open air cruising" the 1957 Thunderbird top can be removed in minutes.
We've had our fun with Thunderlane... Now it's your turn. The car is in excellent mechanical condition & can be driven anywhere.
Please note: We will be out of town from 4/20 thru 4/23 and will return home late on 4/24.
