2010 Silver Ford Transit Connect XLT, ready for conversion, only 13,000 miles

Up for auction is the ultimate multi-use van, ord's Transit Connect XLT. This Transit is a 2010 in Silver with gray trim. Ford hit on a winner when they came out with these great little utility vans, nd Ford dealerships generally had waiting lists for these..
Ford redesigned the Transit Connect and the new ones, lthough functional, re not nearly as cute. This is your chance to get the preferred styling with lots and lots of mileage left. This Transit has less than 13,000 miles.

Although these vans are very reliable and trouble free, ine originally was not. The security system malfunctioned and it was impossible to move (did I mention there is a great security system?). It happened a number of times in the first few years I owned it,and since it involved towing it to a dealership it did not accumulate many miles.
Eventually I took the van to a different Ford dealership (with competent mechanics) and they discovered a bad part had been causing the problems and this little gem has been steady Eddie trouble free since. The dealership offered to buy the van from me several months ago for $15,500.
It is unfinished in the back and can be customized for your purpose. Where I live I see silver ones used for the State's Lottery (maybe full of cash) and I see all kinds of small businesses driving these: painters, ecurity installers, lectricians, lower shops, aterers, tc. And they are often handicapped vans.
Many people make these into custom travel vans and there are instructions on the internet for that. (My son discovered that a double bed mattress perfectly fits the back cargo space). And there are rear seat kits available I believe.
The Transit Connect is 4 cylinder which will save you money.. It has sliding side doors and back cargo doors. This XLT model comes with a nice stereo, uge windows, nd a top of the line security system that keeps your load secure and immobilizes the car. It comes with 2 programmed security keys and owners manuals, spare stored under the van. It has a turning radius designed to handle city deliveries making it easy to park.
The last 4 pictures show areas of scratches that includes the rear bumper, nd the side cargo doors. there are also some scratching below the passenger door from wheelchairs. Most of the scratches appear to be surface paint marring that may be easy to repair with a good detail, ith the exception of 2 deep scratches near the passenger fog light. This van comes with a complete owners manual set.
I love this little euro van and I had difficulty concluding that it was time to sell it, ut obviously I am not using it enough. So buy it now before I change my mind.
