Hey guys. I'm trying to have less vehicles for once in my life, nd my recent purchase of a truck means that the P71 needs a new home. It's been an excellent car for me the last few months, aven't had an issue with it, t's just extra now.
The car is a 2008 Crown Victoria P71 police interceptor. It has 145k miles on it and around 4000 idle hours. The car is blue over black leather interior (from a Crown Vic LX), as 17" steel wheels, nd is generally in good condition.
Starting outside, he car has a few dents and a lot of scratches. Theres a dent on the front right fender and one on the rear deck lid...I've actually got a spare deck lid off of a Massachusetts State police car to replace that, n good shape with the key to its lock. Theres no rot on the car, ut it looks like somebody might have repaired some rust over one of the wheel wells. The roof has a few plugs where there were antennas. The glass is all good, eadlights are clear, nd I replaced the plastic lens/bulb of the spotlight with a glass sealed beam.
Inside the car is very clean. It has really nice black leather interior and steering wheel from a Crown Vic LX, ut a split bench, ot the buckets and console from an LX sport. The rest of the interior is in nice shape, lack headliner and trim is all in nice shape. You could maybe replace some of the dash trim, ince there used to be police mic holders so theres a few holes. A previous owner installed a pretty nice Pioneer head unit...the speakers might have been done too, t sounds excellent.
Under the hood, he car runs and drives great. The engine itself is stock, think it has a K&N-esque filter in it. It has an off-road X pipe and a really nice welded exhaust system on it...I assume themufflers are Flowmasters, ut I've never really looked. The car also has no cats and MIL eliminators, o it doesn't set a check engine light, ut the CEL still works, hich is nice. I had the gauge cluster repaired (the digital part wasn't working when I bought it) and replaced the gear indicator when I got it, o that's working well now. Oh, nd I heard that since the car is an '08 and has a steering wheel with cruise control buttons that you can just get the ECU flashed at the dealer and add cruise control. That's pretty cool.
The two front tires are good, he rears will need to be replaced before winter. The wheels all look like they've been refinished and are in awesome shape, added chrome trim rings because it was the right thing to do. Looks great on there.
I've got a clean title in my name in hand. Let me know if there's anything else I can tell you about the car, 'm sure I left some things out.
