This car was my Dad's last project before he passed in May 2009. He purchased it off Ebay and picked it up in Illinois. I have a lot of the receipts from everything done to car. My mom is the owner and I have power of attorney. My mom has dementia. The original color of car was geranium and white. It is a 1959 Ford Fairlane Galaxie 500 coupe with 37958.2 miles. I do know that this car sat in a dealership showroom on display for quite a number of years before being sold and has never had a lot of exposure to elements. Plastic was still on seats when it was purchased off Ebay. It has been well taken care of and has been in a garage at all times. It is a little dusty on exterior right now and has not been pulled out of garage in about 4 years or so. I would say it is in good condition. It will probably need a new battery and possibly gas tanks cleared due to sitting for so long. All interior work has been done. This car was running perfectly at time of my fathers' passing.
There has been no smoking in the car, here is a small chip in paint on driver door due to a bicycle falling over on it. Chrome is in descent condition, hrome was redone but there are afew small areas of pitting (minor). Upholstery was done by a car upholstery shop and headliner.
Pick up of vehicle would be responsibility of buyer.
