This is a 1965 - K car - 4 speed with a black interior that was refurbished by the previous owner as a daily driver. It was purchased from his wife due to his passing. It was originally a Medium gray metallic with a black interior. The drive train in this vehicle I do not believe is original because I can not find the vin number stamped in the block - however it does have the Hipo heads (both are #20), xhaust manifolds, arge damper, solid lifter cam, ual point distributor and a manual choke 4100 carburetor. It also has a early toploader 4 speed with a ford shifter, cast iron bell housing with an 11" clutch and a 9" differential with pinion flange bracket and has narrowed down axle tubes.
The body is straight and the seams are decent. I would consider the paint job as a 7 out 10. - The lower portion of the vehicle has been cleaned and painted, ncluding the suspension. It looks like the original style pinion rebound plate is still in place and the brackets in the frame rail for the dual exhaust brackets are also there, s well as the reinforcement plates in the rear floor for the dual exhaust. The front seats upholstery, arpet and headliner look like they were replaced, he rear seats are OK. The bumpers, outside door handles, nd rear fender omaments are new, s well as the door and window seals and scuff plates. The glass has no cracks although there are very minor scratches. The front suspension seem tight and has the 13/16" sway bar used in the heavy duty suspension. The front and rear drum brakes were replaced and it looks like the brake and fuel lines have been replace, s well as the rear emergency brake cables. the fuel tank and sending unit and dual exhaust are new. | The following parts are showing there age. The dash cover, luster and glove box are original . The radio functions but has poor reception. The windshield molding is dented and is not attached very well. | This vehicle is a solid driver - it is the kind of vehicle you can drive and enjoy or take to a local cruise night. Its runs and drives and needs a little tender loving care. The vehicle is sold as is with no warranty implied. Shipping is the responsibility of the purchaser. A $500 deposit is due at the end of auction and is payable through PayPal and is nonrefundable. The remainder of the amount due is either due at the time of it being picked up or by bank transfer.
