This auction is for a stunning example of a 1978 Ford F-150 4x4pickup. I have taken many photos, nd while I am reluctant to sell this truck, y priorities have changed and I only need one vehicle. I bought it last year without hesitation. Since then I have put new General Grabber AT tires on it (less than 50 miles on tires), ew modern vintage replica radio with Ford logo (radio has output for iPhone or CD player in glove compartment), s well as a recent tune up. There are also 4 Ranchero shocks installed with less than 50 miles on them. This truck literally turns heads wherever it goes. I have driven it very little since I purchased it, keep it stored indoors and covered from the elements. The body of this truck is unbelievable. I have seen several F-150s from this era and none of them compare to mine. The interior is in fantastic condition with a custom bench seat that matches the exterior of the truck. The 400/351M engine was rebuilt before I bought it. It has a mild cam and a Holley 4 barrel carburetor. This truck sounds amazing!
As stated previously, he body is unbelievable. There is a paint chip on the drivers door and a small spot of paint lifting on the lower corner of the bed. I have taken photos of these areas. Mechanically, would install a new exhaust in the future as the old system is rusty. It's hard to believe this truck is 38 years old! I did a little research onit and discovered that it was originally sold in Louisville, Y. The previous owner told me that this truck was purchased from the original owner, o it is a Kentucky truck.
I have the original Ranger XLT badges that mount in front of the doors. These can beputon easily.
Please note, am listing this truck as mileage exempt. The odometer reads over 90K miles, ut the title states 169K. Given the age of the vehicle this is to be expected.
If you have any questions please feel free to ask me. The truck is available for viewing in Columbia, entucky. This is a NO RESERVE auction. Thank you and good luck bidding!
