I WOULD FIRST LIKE TO START OFF WITH SAYING THIS!
THIS IS NOT JUST A TRUCK THAT A USED CAR DEALER PICKED UP AT AN AUCTION AND THREW IT INTO A DETAIL SHOP TO HAVE EVERYTHING MASKED OVER! MEANING LEATHER SEATS SPRAYED WITH VINYL SPRAY TO MAKE THEM LOOK GOOD WHICH IS JUST TEMPORARY, PRAYED THE CARPET TO COVER STAINS, PRAY PAINTED UNDER THE WHEEL WELLS AND CHASSIS, LSO EVERYTHING ELSE COVERED UP WITH SILICONE SPRAY ALL OVER THE DASH ETC, TC.
I KNOW PLENTY OF USED CAR DEALERS AND THAT'S WHAT THEY DO. THEN SAY THEY HAVE BEEN WELL MAINTAINED BECAUSE THEN IT'S CLEANED AND BASICALLY EVERYTHING IS MASKED OVER WITH SPRAYS TO HIDE ALL THEIR REAL FLAWS!
AS WITH ANY VEHICLE OF THIS AGE THEY'RE GONNA NEED SOME EXPENSIVE REPAIRS, ELL EVERYTHING HAS BEEN COMPLETELY DONE TO THIS EXCURSION WITHIN THE LAST 18 MONTHS. I WILL EXPLAIN BELOW.
THESE ARE ALL COMMON THINGS THAT HAS TO BE DONE AFTER 150K MILES IF THEY WERE EVEN SOMEWHAT MAINTAINED.

Nov 2014 brand new Michelin LTS M/S 2 10 ply 80k mile tires cost just over a grand they have 16,800 highway miles and still have 90% tread. Long life to go not to mention they are the best highway truck tires out there. I only use this brand on all my trucks for many years. Very smooth and quiet riding, 'm not an off road guy.
Aug 2015 @ 166k miles started to hear some torque converter noises,
took it in to Danny at Pro Built Transmission here in Wilmington to have it replaced. He said even though the transmission is perfectly fine, 'd say since we have to drop it out to remove the converter, ou might as well just go ahead and rebuild/freshen up the tranny. I agreed, ince I was going to do all that I had a (billet) torque converter put in new, lso had the transmission upgraded with heavy duty billet grade components, big upgrade from the factory rebuild kit. Also while in there, had him replace the transmission sensor, he rear differential sensor, pgraded tranny cooler etc., ost me just under 4k and now only has 13k miles since. If I went back with standard factory parts, e could have done it all for about $2500.
Danny at Pro Built Transmissions is clearly the best. He has done a good amount of transmission and converters on our work trucks since year 1998. People come from all over the Carolina's to have their transmissions and torque converters rebuilt from Mild to Wild. He is the man with a first class facility!
January 2016 all new Napa premium heavy duty rotors and power stop brake pads. She stops on the dime! Also very low brake dust, o vibrations when applying the brakes at any speed what so ever! Also new caliber bolts, ew back brake lines, ompletely flushed all of the old brake fluid out and refilled with Lucas Synthetic brake fluid etc. $1200.00 they only have 3k miles on them with a 100k mile warranty.
Also all recently done this year. New Auto Lite double platinum 100k mile spark plugs. Idle air control valve replace, ew 02 sensor replaced not that it needed all this but are know common issues that should be replaced after a certain amount of miles. Also had the throttle body completely cleaned, ll vacuum lines cleaned or replaced, ew throttle body gasket, ew Mass air flow sensor. I could have just cleaned it, ut like I said, like my vehicles to run at maximum efficiency!
I also within the last 15k miles replaced the two front ball joints and replaced all the front axle seals.
The miles are about 90% hwy miles as I travel to south Florida every month sometimes twice a month for work. I love this truck! I used premium fuel or at least midgrade and get an honest 15.5 mph at 75 mph sometimes even 16+. I'm the second owner of this truck and only used mobil 1 pure synthetic oil every 8k miles. The original owner only used Ford motor craft synthetic oil. I just always used Mobil 1 in my trucks and recently sold one of my trucks with 313k miles on it and still purred like a kitten. I like everything I own to run its best for fuel efficiency and dependability! I don't wait for things to break before replacing. I replace things based on the miles. Everything in this truck has pure synthetic oil in it from the transmission rear end gear oil and brake fluid. I also clean my K&N air filters about every 3 months with mild dawn dish soap and I do not oil them. I like my mass air flow senor clean and dust free! I also used Chevron techron Fuel injection cleaner about every third tank fill. Replace fuel filters every year.
Also in Jan of this year, had the entire radiator flushed and new premium Motor Craft coolant replaced.
This truck never has had any of these so called performance chips installed on this truck, s I know over long term use they do cause damage.
This truck also never had any kind of suspension changes, eaning lift kits or big tires etc as all that puts a lot of stress on all the suspension parts and wears everything!
This truck runs like brand new!!! She also rides extremely smooth at all speeds and very solid on the road with no play or sway.
I have always hand washed this truck weekly unless I don't drive it for a few weeks at a time and it sits indoors. The previous owner was retired and always garage kept it and I keep it most of the time in my building. All the seals around windows and frames are not dry rotted at all.
I hand paste wax her about every three months with Meguiar's premium past wax. Also after each wash, use spray wax on it to maintain her shine and I will tell you now this trucks shines better than anything you will ever find! You can count your eye lashes on my vehicles. I also polish all the chrome, heels and center caps, ll glass as well. I get compliments everywhere I go with this truck and always get asked if I want to sell it. Off course I always said no. This is the best SUV I had ever owned. You can load this truck up with the entire family, uggage, od and reels, tc. and put 10k behind her and go anywhere with ease! Especially with the new billet converter and transmission. I recently pulled a 32ft 12k pound cruiser style boat to S. Florida at 70 mph with my girl and all our gear like it wasn't even there.
Folks this Excursion is in flawless condition!!! There are no stains on the carpets, o debris in between the seats, o odors, ever had any kids eating in it and dropping food. All leather still looks new as I do condition it often with good leather cleaner conditioner.
All expensive parts that wear over time on these trucks has already been replaced! She runs and drives like a brand new Texas Cadillac!!!!
My Excursion has a whole life in front of her and I know it cannot be replaced comparing apples to apples for this buy it now price!
She is a solid 9.8 from 1 out of 10, nd that takes a lot for me to say!
I have been in the power boat industry for almost 25 yrs and I know how to maintain mechanicals!!!!
I know from the bottom of my heart this is the finest, naltered Excursion out there!

I have had some car dealers offer me $9500 for the truck and that's not gonna happen. Please don't ask.
This truck just must be seen in person and drive it. We can even go on the interstate if you like. She runs and drives flawlessly! Truck needs nothing! Find one cheaper get ready to do all the work I had done to this one that's already done. This will be the best SUV you will ever find especially for the money! I also Have no problem with you having inspected, ut not by some back yard Mechanic. You may take to any Ford Dealer locally. They all know me and I know there gonna tell you right off the bat that John is extremely picky with all his trucks. This one was mainly used when I had to go on long trips out of town because its very smooth on the interstates VS the Pick ups. The pic up trucks are what we use to deliver boats all over. This is my personal truck and babied.
I may also consider any trades on boats as I'm in the boating industry.
