1979 Ford Bronco Ranger XLT 4 x 4 off road clean western truck

For sale: Clean 79 Bronco Ranger XLT in good condition. Sharp looking rig that hasn't been mudded. wheeled. kidded. or thrashed. Complete functional driver and still has the original jack. handle. and lug wrench. Clean Broncos are getting tough to find. This one needs a few things. but the expensive stuff is done. I'll do my best to describe it below. Exterior: Straight. solid truck that presents well as is with no major issues and draws a lot of looks and compliments. Has been repainted in the original colors and did have some rust repair behind both rear wheels and on bottom of doors (see link to pics). Underside of truck is very clean and floors. inner fenders. rockers. cab mounts. nbsp;drop-offs and frame look great - see link to pics below. Nothing hidden with undercoat. what you see is what you get. In this arid land. we don't see major rust. cancer or rot - there's just not much moisture and sand. not salt is used on the roads. Chrome and moldings in very good condition - grille surround is very nice so that's $500 you don't have to spend. Bumpers are straight but some pitting on front bumper. There are a couple of chips on passenger side of cowl (see link to pics). Glass is good but windshield has a small crack along the bottom as shown. Late model alloy wheels are in good condition with no major damage and 31" tires have decent tread. Overall super solid truck. Interior: Overall good driver condition. could use a good detailing. No cracks in door panels. nbsp;some cracks in dash under cover. Original carpet is worn and has a few rips on left passenger floor and under cargo liner in back - again. driver quality. Front seat has some tears in seat bottom under cover. Everything works except cruise control as far as I can tell. Headliner has a crack. Aftermarket stereo installed and it works. There is a bit of slop in shifter handle (column and shift collar are tight. it's just shift handle/pin) Some tears in rear panels(see pics). Rear window does roll up and down. might have to "help" it up with your hand. Just an honest functional truck. Mechanical: Starts. runs. and drives out well. Engine has been replaced. nbsp;pulls very strong and has great oil pressure. I was told it's an early higher compression 400 with cam and Performer intake and carb - also it's running a points distributor. Part time 4x4 with hubs works fine. I started this rig at a cold 5 degrees outside today and it fired right up. Has a manual choke and it is cold blooded - doesn't like to stay running at first. No noticeable noises. smoke. or leaks. New Flowmaster muffler and tailpipe and it sounds great. Tires are 31 x 10. 50 and have decent tread with no cracking. Needs wheel seal on passenger rear (seeping) and rear brake work. Fun to drive and it gets some looks!Pricing/Misc: I got a good deal on this rig and you will too. These trucks in good condition are hard to find and expensive. but my reserve is well under $5k for quick sale.
