This 1967 Mustang. with 78. 30 original miles. has the original 289 code A engine (the rarest 1967 engine option). C-4 automatic transmission (only 2. 41 made with this engine and transmission combo) and 3. 00 rear axle. underwent a partial restoration in 2008 after sitting in a garage for 12 years. The car had been painted red sometime in the past and in 2008 was sand blasted down to bare metal. sprayed with yellow lead primer and restored to the original color. Brittany Blue (code Q). This was a fairly rare car in 1967 and is undoubtedly even rarer now. 48 years later. The brake system with power front discs had all lines replaced was completely redone. The fuel system was thoroughly cleaned and restored. The radiator was flushed. rodded out and repaired. along with a new water pump installed. the timing chain cover was also replaced. The front end has been rebuilt. including upper and lower control arms. The engine runs strong with no smoke. In addition to the GT equipment group this Mustang came with many other options which included: a power top. courtesy light group. console. rocker panel molding. power steering. factory air. and more. The AM/8 track stereo radio with an AM/FM stereo radio. The exhaust manifolds with headers. This Mustang drives and shows well. and could be easily fully restored if desired. Almost all parts for early Mustangs are readily available. While the factory AC works fine and blows cold. the heater core needs to be replaced. as well as the driver side rear window mechanism. The car is always garaged except when it’s occasionally driven. I purchased this car in 2008 from an owner who purchased it in 1996. when I bought it. it had been setting in his garage for years. he didn't know the original owners of the car.
