1970 Cobra Torino Fastback: Here is a great muscle car of all times and it is in need for a complete restoration. This car has been off the road since 1974 (according to the NC inspection sticker on the windshield) for what reason is unknown, ut due to being abandoned it left this car with a pretty solid body. The transmission and engine are long gone also is the shaker assembly. What you are bidding on is what you see here in the listing. I have contacted the NC DMV inspector and had the VIN ran and it came back clean of theft or liens so due to not having the title it is being sold by me as a parts car. I will wright the buyer a bill of sale if needed and if the buyer wants to add $500 and can wait a few months i can get them a title as i have already checked on doing so it just take a lot of paper work and time. This is a true 429 CJ (J code ram air car, did find the original build sheet and papers under the rear seat and they go with the car . As far as rust goes from what i can see it will need floor pan on driver side patched 6" x 1/2 long strip and then a 3"x 3" patch at seat riser, hen the cowl behind the master cyl 8"x 2" strip at pinch weld., hen both quarter panels 3"x 3" near the wheel well, hen the trunk lid has some rust in the frame at weatherstripping. if you need more pictures or have any questions you can call or text me at 828-682-2772 and i will answer what i can and take more pictures if needed. i am looking for mustang fastbacks in similar condition to restore so let me know what you have. thanks and good luck on the auction. sold as is where is !!!!!
