1959 Ford Thunderbird Coupe

This '59 T-bird always gets attention everywhere it goes! The restoration was done in the late 90s and the car has always been garaged. The paint colors are Colonial White on the bottom and Indian Turquoise on the roof. The interior is turquoise and white and the upholstery and carpet is in very good condition. Originally a 352 V8 car, 1968 428 FE now resides under the hood. The engine has a Pertronix electronic ignition and an Edelbrock carb. I have the factory style air cleaner as seen in the photos. The automatic transmission is a C-6 and the rear end is a 9 inch unit. The radiator is cooled by a 17" flex fan with an 18" electric fan ahead of the radiator. Items that aren't in working order are the horn ring, he vacuum wipers and the A/C. While not in showroom condition this car has won many awards and trophies including an award at the 2007 Route 66 Rendezvous in San Bernardino. The car is located in Yucca Valley about 35 miles NE of Palm Springs CA.
