The story:

This van was factory ordered by NHRA world record holder Wally Knoch (http://www.thehotrodsofdearborn.com/WaltsPuffer.html). He drove the van for just 1800 miles from new and thenbegan to dismantle and customize it. Walt didn't get very far, ost interest and stored it in his warehouse up until 2 years ago when I acquired it. During it's long storage it became a catch all for old parts and a home for a feral cat.

Van was ordered with a 351 V8, uto Trans, /C, M / FM / Cassette, ilt Steering and Power front disc brakes. Walt installed a power sunroof and began to shave the body ( door handles, arker lights and insignias ). Vehicle is missing A/C components, op of engine ( heads, ntake carb ), adiator, xhaust, uel tank and some misc items.

Body is as solid as the day it was new. Still has areas that have that "new car" look and feel. Paint is faded, cratched etc. There are a few small surface rust spots and dents. Back of cargo floor has some pealing paint and surface rust due to storage of old cardboard boxes. Hood has a couple of rusted corners due to storage off van - standing on end on a concrete floor. Engine was left uncovered with heads and manifolds off for many years. Plastic grille is broken. Seats are dirty but are not torn or worn, hould clean up nicely.
