Bought this 2010 Ford Explorer 16 months ago but I need a bigger truck.
This seats 7 (2 front, middle, on 3rd row). Mileage around town is about 15mpg and on the highway it gets a little over 20mpg.
Excellent cosmetic condition in and out. 90K service included new spark plugs and a tune up and it drives better than the day I bought it. Also bought a new 6 Year Interstate Battery 11/27/15.
I took one pic of the middle row and back row seats folded down into "Cargo Mode" and you can see all the space you can use for loading up if you need to.
Convenient and safe 4WD is always on (automatically comes on if needed, plus you have the options of 4x4 Low and 4x4 High at the push of a button. I have not had the occasion to use either except to click the buttons to make sure they were functional. Towing Package is on this truck but I have not had the need to tow anything. It also comes equipped with Fog Lights but I have not used those either, ust turned them on to make sure they worked.
Actual mileage as of today is about 102,500.
Automatic transmission, ower disc brakes, ower windows, ower rear view mirrors, ront AND rear A/C, lip-up rear window, pare is stored under the truck as is actually EASY to get to, hich is unusual. All 4 tires have about 18K miles on them. Heater works great. CLOTH seats ! (never been a leather fan myself so Yay !)
HERE is what it needs : my Freon leaked out over the course of 16 months. My mechanic found a small split on the aluminum coupler of the discharge hose. His estimate : A/C Discharge Hose Assembly $193.44, 134 $91.80, abor $102.00, hop Fees $15.49, ax $29.20 = $431.93.
I don't have it to spend, lain and simple.
Reserve price is set at $1,000 below Kelly Blue Book and $1,500 to $4,000 below locally priced comparable Explorers.
Feel free to ask any questions before bidding and THANKS for stopping by ! :-) Steve *hwdv8*
