1997 Ford Crown Victoria P71 Police Interceptor Low Mileage Low Reserve + Mods!

Up for auction is my 1997 Ford Crown Victoria 'P71' Police Interceptor. I purchased this vehicle about two and a half years ago with 62,000 original miles on it. It was originally a federal corrections officer's car where itrarelyleft the prison property and was not used to transport inmates. When this vehicle was decommissioned, t was sold to a dealer in Huntington, Y where I bought it and then enjoyed it as a daily driver. It now has 100,2XX original miles.

This Crown Victoria has a lot of great selling points, ncluding performance upgrades, ecent repairs and servicing and more! The Firestone snow tires were purchased new and installed just 8 months ago. They have less than 10,000 miles on them and have anexcellent amount of tread remaining. Also, recently replaced both ignition coils, nstalled a new Motorcraft wire set, nd replaced the alternator, ll during 2016.

This car starts readily, dles smoothly with a subtle yet throaty exhaust note, nd handles very well. There is, owever, ne thing to note that may require attention eventually. Although the transmission shifts smoothly, here is an occasional vibration from the rear end when shifting from third gear to fourth gear. Otherwise, verything else feels good, ncluding the brakes which are solid and feature police-rated ceramic pads. There are also no fluid leaks from the engine compartment – all coolant, il, rake, nd power steering fluid levels stay consistent. Please note that the air conditioner is not working (may need a recharge) but the heat works very well even in the coldest of temperatures.

Modifications on this vehicle include 3.73 rear gears, pulley kit, cold air intake with the MAF sensor from a Mustang Cobra, nd a light tune to accommodate the extra airflow. The most important mod of all, owever, s the 2.5 inch custom exhaust system with non-restrictive stainless steel mufflers and secondary cat delete, lus tips to match the factory appearance. This combined with the 3.73 gears gives the car an excellent boost and a well-defined growl, hile not being obnoxiously loud. Also included and installed is an aftermarket Pioneer stereo with Bluetooth and excellent sound quality.

The exterior of the vehicle is in good condition, howing some scrapes on the bumper covers and one crack in the front bumper. There is also some rust under the driver door and under that rocker panel as well, nd some bubbling where the windshield meets the roof. Otherwise, he paint finish shines nicely and there is no visible rust on the exterior of the body.

The tan, ivilian-appearance interior is very clean, ith no rips or stains to the seats or headliner, o cracks in the dashboard, nd just a couple small holes in the carpeting and rear deck from where equipment was removed. There is no police equipment currently in this car, lthough it has the original 140MPH speedometer.
