Description

This is a VERY CLEAN F250 XLT Crew Cab Short Bed ( CCSB ) 4x4. It has the legendary 7.3 Powerstroke diesel.
I am the third owner and the second owner owned it for 18 years.. All work prior to my buying it in 2015 was done at the same Ford dealer in Missouri.

The truck has low miles however the dash cluster was replaced at a Ford dealer in Missouri with a used unit with different miles (there are no new dash clusters). The mileage discrepancy is notated in the drivers door on a placard from the Ford dealer. You can also verify this by looking at the Carfax (one month it has like 120,000 and a few weeks later 260,000). Nearly all the service at Ford shows up on the Carfax report so there are many mileage notations prior to the cluster change. Looking at it you can tell the mileage was accurate prior to the cluster change. The odometer reads 300,000 but the math has the truck at 160,000. I also have a copy of the service record from the dealer for this item.

The undercarriage is very clean and it has very good paint.Just recently a few small bubbles of rust have popped up in the paint on the rear wheel wells just above the tire. I started to have it addressed but figured it would be a slow issue and I could look at it at the end of the summer. I was quoted $513 to repair and repaint the rust above the wheel well. I can't get an appointment until mid July. It will be repaired in July and priced accordingly. No other rust is apparent on the truck. The underside is way too clean (i don't mean spray painted with rustoleum, mean naturally clean) to have been kept outside for 20 yrs. This truck was garaged, t's just too clean to have been kept outside.

No chips or performance upgrades.Outside of a brake controller the truck is completely stock.
What is replaced:
  • The transmission was rebuilt in January by a reputable transmission specialist in Jacksonville FL, nd comes with a 36000 mile local warranty through that mechanic. He backs up his work, shopped around before deciding to use this mechanic. It is a stock transmission with some minor upgrades to make it a little longer lasting.
  • The tires (Cooper AT3) are only 4 months old.
  • I have replaced the cassette deck with a clean looking (not too flashy) Blaupunkt stereo that connects bluetooth to play from your phone. The speakers were also replaced with very nice stock size speakers, laupunkt/ Polk Audio. I still have the cassette player.
  • The computer module was replaced when the dash cluster was replaced in 2012, one at Ford before I bought it. It's on the carfax report.
  • I replaced both batteries in May.
  • I believe it was a main engine seal (not sure of the seal name, t was dripping so it was replaced). There was a seepage at the dipstick too, o it was replaced.
The rear passenger door "automatic lock" doesn't work. It needs to be locked by hand. I just haven't got around to looking at it. Might be simple, ight not. That's how it is with these older trucks.

I am trying to be brutally honest so you know exactly what you are getting. YOU WILL NOT FIND A CLEANER TRUCK. Outside of the rust bubbles on the wheelwell there is NOTHING wrong with this truck and it has a NEW TRANSMISSION. When you a
dd the cost of having a new transmission, his is a value. These transmissions are really good for between 150-225,000, iles. That meansnearlyevery truck you look at with miles in that range will soon nee, r already have, new transmission. It cost between $2000-4000 so make sure it has been done, ine failed the week after I drove it home from Missouri. I'm willing to take it to a local mechanic if you find one locally you want to have look at it. I searched for 6 months before buying this one.You will not find a cleaner truck.Even the little engine compartment light still works. Every light works. No cracks in dash, o rips in seats. My situation has changed and I currently need my daily driver to be somethingother than a classic F250.I will provide the Carfax if you email me.On Jun-24-16 at 12:53:33 PDT, eller added the following information:
