1986 Ford Mustang GT with T-Top VG Condition

This car was built to be dependable, asy to maintain, ith better performance in acceleration, andling, nd braking.

Modifications are mild and use factory parts for the most part, didn't want to vary too much from stock to avoid creating other issues and wanted to keep maintenance close

to a stock car.

The car runs very well, uns cool, as good oil pressure, hifts great, nd no rear

axle noise.

Engine work, rakes, nd suspension were done in summer of 2013 with very few

miles since. Cooling system was flushed at that time. Power steering system was flushed approximately 2 years ago. New Stewart EMP aluminum water pump was added last year.

Installed Late Model Restoration’s ARP water pump bolt kit and new Motorcraft serpentine

belt at that time.

AC works very well and has been converted to 134 so maintenance can be done anywhere. Oil pan gasket was professionally replaced on 9/22/2015. There is still a very small oil leak towards the front of the pan, ossibly from the drain plug.

The only rust I can see are very small areas at the inside lower corner of the doors I assume it's rust, t is red, here are pictures included. There is also another very small spot in the hatch channel, H side. This "rust" was the same when I bought the car and has not changed any.

There are also a couple of paint chips on the hatch channel. I'm sure there are other minor blemishes in the paint from driving, ut as said paint is fairly new and car has been garaged. Also, ar does not have ugly front license bracket on bumper or any holes from such,Tennessee does not require front license plates.

Carpet and dash were replaced, ook good, ut fit is not as good as original. I also have a set of the factory 10 slat dealer installed louvers that I will include. These are not installed. Since the trim is black, think they would look very nice on the car and do help for heat and interior fading issues. They are complete except for 1 of the lower brackets, only have 1 of the 2. I have another set of louver brackets which are close and could be used with some modifying.

T-tops will need some adjusting, ot a complete seal. Weatherstripping is new, have tried adjusting but needs someone more proficient.

Gas gauge does not work, fill up and use trip odometer to decide when to gas up.

I can hear some valve train sounds at idle after the car has run for a while, fter the oil is warmer and thinner. Again, he car runs smooth and strong.

The car is pictured with the refinished original wheels that will be sold with the car with the exception of the last picture in which the car is shown with a set of Enkei mesh wheels that I have extra for the car.
These are 16” refinished black mesh wheels with very good condition summer maximum performance tires. These wheels are lighter weight and have ¼” less backspacing giving you a little wider track width.These Enkei wheels will be sold in a different auction after the Mustang auction is finished. If the auction winner of the Mustang is interested, will offer them to them for $600, ires included, hich is well below market value based on my research.
