1986 F-150 Std Cab/Longbed 58,180 Original Miles

Up for sale is a 1986 F-150 XL Longbed/Std Cab Pickup.
Relisted due to a non-paying buyer.

I am selling this for a friend.
Low original miles, t was a Michigan farm truck prior to my friend getting it 3 years ago.
Has quite a bit of sheet metal work needed to bring it back to top shape, owever, ecause of the low miles and as good as the engine runs, t is worth restoring.
This will need drivers floor pan, ocker, nd possibly rear cab mount. Rear fenderwells, r box sides, nd a rear bumper. If it was me, would contact Dick's Auto Parts in Middlebury, ndiana. Probably can get a decent, omplete box for $500 or so.
Interior is about average for this vintage, ould use a dashpad or cover, eat cover, nd a headliner. Windshield is cracked.
This has the HD 5.0 V-8 with the 7 quart oil pan, Speed stick makes some noise, nd probably could use a rebuild, ut it goes down the road good. There are a couple of Ebay sellers with trans rebuild kits for $140. Recent brake master cylinder replacement. Brakes and power steering are good, s are the cooling system and heater..
Many 80's Ford pickups with a manual had firewall metal that fatigued by the clutch master cylinder., nd separated, his one is no exception, nd will need this spot welded, r braced up. Terrapin Manufacturing in Ft Wayne, N makes a repair kit for this issue that runs around $100.
As you can see by the pictures, ncluded is a "Y" pipe assembly and catalytic convertor that he purchased a while back. The existing exhaust system works but is louder than stock.
