The Classic Car Gallery is proud to offer this very original 1965 Ford Mustang Convertible. This car was a California car, nd it shows!! The frame and underside are in wonderful condition, ith none of the issues that plague these cars. The car is in “driver quality” condition, nd runs and drives well. The original color Poppy Red exterior paint is in excellent condition and shows well. The white vinyl interior is in very nice condition, s it the black dash top. We believe the 289 CID motor to be original, nd believed to have rebuilt, t runs well, nd puts out good power. The AUTOMATIC transmission shifts well, nd works as it should. The suspension is well sorted, nd the car runs straight and true. The car has power steering, nd is easy to drive. The exhaust system is nice condition. The white ELECTRIC convertible top is in good condition, nd the power top mechanism works as it should. The wheels are nice, nd the tires have plenty of tread left. The glass is all original and in excellent condition. This is a VERY original car, ith original quarter panels and fenders all proper original date codes are in place.
