Hello Everyone!
- Here you have a 1971 Ford F-100 project with a clear title. The drive train has been switched over to a 2006 Lincoln Town Car drive train with a 4.6 L V-8 Engine, Automatic Transmission. Drive shaft work has already been done and connected. Truck is a roller. Frame is solid and straight! Bed, Cab, and front fenders are bolted on (Not all the way) but need new mounts, so they aren't sitting straight as is, but the vehicle is straight. The mileage listed is the mileage that was on the 2006 Lincoln when drive train was removed, not the 1971's actual mileage. The actual mileage on the clear title of the 1971 F-100 is: 92,793. I did not list the VIN number because I personally don't like to considering I have heard that VIN numbers have been stolen in the past. I don't know how true that is, but I am not taking chances! Rest assured, the truck does have a valid VIN and a clear NJ title.
- A couple of months ago I had a professional truck shop look over the vehicle and they told me that this is definitely a doable project with what is there and it wouldn't take much to get her fully ready for inspection and to be a daily driver. The shop said they would go back over the drive train and suspension to make sure all is sound, connect all the wiring harnesses and hook up all electrical components, mount the leather seats that are in the vehicle, connect the steering, brakes, fuel lines. After that is done, the truck would be able to pass inspection and be driven as a reliable daily driver.
- Pros:- Truck is solid. It used to be a daily driver.- Cab is solid and straight. Doors open and close great, no rust anywhere around the doors or windows besides bondo on about a 8 inch spot on passenger door.- All the glass is in good shape with no cracks or chips.- Bed is solid besides a few pin holes located towards the front and back of the bed, that can easily be filled or welded. Not flimsy or weak! The bed is currently holding all the parts.- Front fenders need some metal work but solid. You can see where about 6"x 10" was cut out of the left. To repair this you would need to order from MAC's about $200.00 worth of panels.- The truck is all there, the Lincoln is all there, just needs to be put back together and done RIGHT.- I have all of the parts off of the 2006 Lincoln Town Car including all of the wiring harnesses (Not cut! Except for one harness that I saw was cut by the steering column). Everything that I could strip off the Lincoln I did (I ended up doing that myself), I removed everything and am including with the truck. So you are getting two vehicles in one for the most part, not including the Lincoln shell.- The Lincoln only had 48,000 miles when it was in a very minor fender bender. I drove and ran the Lincoln to make sure it was good for the swap. No problems what so ever.- Apparently, street truck guys love this swap and its a great candidate for a street truck.- Nothing is locked up, truck is a roller, I actually pushed the truck onto the trailer.- Cab floors are solid, the previous owner replaced them before my ownership.- The F100 Fuel tank behind the seats is a new fuel tank.- I have the original bench seat as well.- I have the firewall from the 2006 Lincoln that I included if new owner needed for a template for the a/c.- Tires hold air and haven't deflated since I got the truck back two months ago.- Clear title
- Cons:- The front suspension needs to be finished as far as the mounts, but bolted in place for now.- I don't have the original rear or forward suspension from the 1971 f100.- Minor rust no bigger than a dime that can easily be welded up in the bed.- The front grill is missing the driver side headlight bezel.- The engine and transmission run great, but aren't wired up so it isn't driving.- The steering isn't connected to the steering column, so tires have to be turned by hand when moving- Brakes aren't connected.- Fuel lines aren't connected- I don't have the 2006 Lincoln Manuals for rebuild, although I did find them online.
- I will be as helpful as possible with this truck as far as information. This is a true case of "My loss, your gain". Understand that this is a project and I will help clarify anything you may worry about! But as far as I am concerned, its a pretty awesome project.
- TO BE NOTED: I will consider trades for this project of any kind. Tractors, Horse Trailers, heavy equipment, Maybe another project car that is stock, etc. Send me a message of what you have of or around equal value and we can go from there. I really need the money because I am trying to start up a business for myself.
- I have sold the doors off of the LINCOLN. So they are the only 4 things not going to be sold with the truck! The doors on the F-100 are still on it!
- Also, the trailers are NOT included in the sale. Although, the 18' Steel deck the truck is sitting on is brand new and I would consider selling with the truck for an additional $4000.00. Message me for more information.
- The Price- The truck is listed now LOWER than the price of what multiple shops have appraised the value at. Just the engine and transmission alone are what I am starting this bid off at. So if you want to finish this project, or part it out, its up to you. I would like to see this bad boy finished though!

This item will be sold as is, where is, with no warranties. I have described this 1971 Ford F-100 to the absolute best of my ability and have been honest in the description. I do have 100% feedback on eBay and plan to keep it that way! The truck has been listed recently in the area, so I DO have the right to end the auction early if a buyer contacts me locally, but ultimately I will let the auction play out. Once the auction ends and winning bidder contacts me, the truck is yours. I will not pull this sale out from under you after the auction ends. I will not remove this truck for any reason besides a verified local buyer, (which I did once before but the buyer was a tire kicker!) Many of the parts included I could not take pictures of because there are so many. But I have included everything that I have removed off of the Lincoln, and everything I have from the F-100. Once the title is transferred and buyer pays, there are no refunds. I will consider shipping the truck (doing so myself) depending on buyer availability and distance.
