This van until a week ago was owned by a government operated/owned school district here in Mississippi just about 50 miles from our location, was replaced with a new one about two years ago because of appearance, age and miles, has sat idle not being used since then. We purchased the bus/van directly from the school district along with several more vans and a fleet of buses, not from an auction, dealer or broker, simply turning this one into cash. After purchasing we cranked it, drove it about 50 miles, checked all fluids and washed it/photographed for eBay. The van cranks right up on its own power, engine and transmission run and shift properly, running gear seems great, we would suggest a good servicing/lubing from one end to the other because it sit not being used for so long, new wiper blades and may have to replace a few light bulbs, etc. As you can see in the photos the paint is faded in spots and mainly on the roof, the bumpers are faded, it has several dents, dings and scratches all around – simply a school district maintenance employee that didn’t’ mind bumping in to a few things, the windshield is cracked which is $125 new, it has no spare tire, the driver’s seat is ripped/torn, the school district name decal has been removed and the others can be removed easily just takes a little time and some patience, all of the tires hold air and roll down the road but are showing signs of dry rot – would suggest putting a new set on – will drive as they are but to be safe buy some new, other than that what you see is what you get. We are selling the van with a clean-clear title and bill of sale, it will crank up, drive down the road although we would suggest a good servicing before traveling too far, it is selling regardless of price, please remember it is 18 years old, cranks and runs, is not running hot, blowing or burning oil or anything like that, air conditioning is cold, seems to still have plenty of life left in it, perfect work van!
