One of a kind 2012 Supercharged Ford Mustang BOSS 302 up for grabs! |
About the car It was originally built by Lethal Performance to show the world what this new platform is capable of, and it ran a quarter mile in 10.31 seconds with all stock suspension and over 830hp on the wheels (with 16PSI Boost and Race gas)!! Since i've imported it to Dubai, i've done quite a bit of work to turn it from a track only monster to a track/street vehicle, and got completely carried away in doing so, eventually tearing most of it apart and rebuilding it from scratch! I dropped the boost to 11PSI (for pump gas), Powder coated the supercharger and all the intake/discharge pipes, modified and adjusted the intake and discharge pipes so they tuck neatly under the car while retaining the factory bottom cover (instead of cutting two holes in it as usually done for all Vortech setups), rewired the fuel pump management unit, had all vacuum lines replaced with braided stainless steel ones, upgraded the cooling system and moved the coolant reservoir away from the passenger side exhaust manifold, replaced the lower/upper control arms, etc Following is a list of some of the modifications: Vortech V-7 JT Trim Intercooled supercharger with custom wrinkle black powder coat Vortech 8 Rib upgrade Vortech MaxFlow Fuel pump booster with braided stainless steel line used for boost reference Siemens Deka 75lb fuel injectors Brisk racing spark plugs Airaid Valvecover breathers (PCV Deleted) Reische Performance 170* Thermostat Custom cooling system upgrade using factory reservoir in old battery location SCT X3 handheld tuner Roush AC Vent Gauge pod with Autometer Cobalt Boost/Vacuum Gauge McLeod RXT Twin disc clutch with billet steel flywheel Driveshaft Shop 3.5" Aluminum driveshaft Ford racing Traction-lok carbon differential discs BMR Front driveshaft safety loop BMR Lower control arms BMR Lower control arms relocation brackets BMR Adjustable Upper control arm and mount BOSS 302 Laguna Seca rear spoiler, and a whole lot more smaller bits and bobs! The car is a media sensation.. you can just google "Lethal Performance Boss" and check out the magazine articles and videos all over the world! You can see more of the vehicle and the work done in the links below: L&R Performance Track/Street Rebuild Original Build article on 5.0 Mustang & Super Fords Stang TV Article Mustang 2 Article Last photo taken of the Boss by Lethal Performance before it was loaded in the container Vaughn Gittin Jr drifting Lethal Performance's 2012 BOSS at Palm Beach International Raceway Lethal Performance Facebook page Cover photo Jessica Barton photo shoot (NSFW) I have all the documentation to prove this vehicle is in fact the one featured in the links above. It has a clean title, checks out on CarFax and Autocheck, and i have a copy of the original title, all the sale documents from the dealer to Lethal Performance then to me, including the original window sticker! The vehicle is in a show quality condition inside and out, has NEVER been in an accident, and it's only done ~4,500k miles as of July 2016. If you're to build this car, the cost of the car and parts would add up to over $66k USD, and this isn't taking any R&D or labor charges into consideration. |
** The vehicle is on its way back to the US and should be in Texas within a month from today |
