NEED THIS GONE, I AM READY TO BUY A NEW CAR.
Selling my svt focus...It is build 1,659 of 4,788 ever made. Very fun, quick, rare little car.
First off the bad stuff:
A/C just went out not sure what's wrong, The paint is pretty sun burned in some places as this car has been in Phoenix and Tucson all its life, and might just need a new paint job all around. Second, the window regulators for the power windows are broken so they are permanently up until they can be fixed and the passenger side door makes a funny noise when you lock/unlock the car. The moon roof is finicky sometimes but still works.
Now on to the good stuff! ...
I have done TONS of maintenance recently to refresh this car including the dreaded timing belt job, new fuel pump (this job is a colossal P.I.T.A and requires dropping the gas tank), new parts such as tires, battery, alternator, clutch master cylinder, coolant reservoir tank, all 3 motor mounts, serpentine belt, tensioner, idler and ALL fluids including, engine oil, transmission oil, power steering fluid, brake fluid, and coolant flush as well as much more I can't think of right now! This car is ready to go another 100k miles. The timing belt job alone is over $1k to have done and is a nightmare of a job as this engine is an interference engine and requires special tools to do it. Aside from the a/c and the cosmetic stuff, this car is great.
My beautiful focus has a few minor modifications including...
Engine:
ARP headstuds
Steeda 8mm plug wires
CFM 2.5" stainless flex pipe
FSWERKS 2.5" stainless stealth catback (Not overly loud and obnoxious)
CFM 180 degree thermostat and thermostat housing (from svt contour, much better unit and runs cooler)
Suspension:
Steeda sport springs for svt (classy and functional 1.5" drop, slightly stiffer suspension as well)
Exterior:
Locking gas cap
Speedbleeders on all four brake calipers (Look these up, they're awesome!)
Black housing halo headlights w/ projectors and led accents
Full led tail light conversion w/ white led reverse lights (Look really nice and stock actually)
Euro clear side markers w/ white led bulbs and blacked out front markers
White led license plate lights
V-LEDS load resistors w/ heat shields installed in hatch, wired into tail light circuit to eliminate hyper flash from the led brake lights and led side markers!
Interior:
Custom short throw shifter
Sony Xplod deck w/ ipod, mp3 hook up
Battery relocation to the trunk (hatch)
Like I said not many mods at all, in fact it's basically stock minus the exhaust and suspension. Please, serious buyers only. If you don't know much about this car you can look them up online, they're a little on the raw side, these were made to be fun and fast. Would be a great first car for a RESPONSIBLE young driver. Also cheap and easy to maintain. These are starting to jump in price now and I think will continue to in the near future due to the hype around the new focus rs that is coming here to the states. It's because this is a great alternative if you can't afford the new focus ST or focus RS (like most of us lol)
