Truck drives like a dream. sounds really. really nice. responds fast. has great stability and control. This truck is so on the ground that it feels just like you are driving a dually. The transmission shifts so smooth you won't even notice it's shifting. No leaks. no smoke. Comes equipped with Ford Trailer Brake Control so it’s ready and have the power to haul anything. Like mentioned earlier all we did to it mechanically was put 2 new batteries. I can not say if any work was done to it as far as EGR delete goes. We left the truck pretty stock. even on the exhaust. so will be up to the new buyer to jack it up and decide how many gadgets you need to ad on to it. To top everything off. this truck is extremely economic. We are getting about 18 mpg on highway @65mph. But it all depends on how you drive. Proper oil change and tire pressure also play a big role on fuel consumption. so good maintenance is the key to any truck. This truck is very easy to maintain and the 6. 0 is the best motor Ford has on the market. It combines the best features of all the motors from the last decade - it's fast like the 6. 4. but reliable and easy to work on like the 7. 3. EXTERIOR This truck looks sharp and is as clean as you can get. Being a southern truck you now there are no surprises and specially no rust. The gray exterior and gray interior gives it a nice look. If you like chrome than these Ford OEM running boards are the best and better looking ones you can get. New chrome mirrors and nice chrome 20” wheels with Nitto 35x12. 50 tires. INTERIOR Interior reflects the mileage for sure. It’s clean and overall excellent condition. Leather on seats is in great condition. Carpet is overall great condition. no rips and no stains. Dash looks nice and neat. All power windows. door locks. power mirrors work. One small crack on front passenger side door panel and color on radio buttons sort of faded. The ABS light is on. all it needs is a clockspring. We will get that taken cared of in the next few days. WORK DONE We bought the truck at the auction from an insurance company. It was stolen at one point and then recovered. Truck started right up so there was nothing done to it mechanically other than 2 new batteries from Ford. We had the truck completely painted on the exterior by a body shop a few months ago because it has some dings and scratches. We then installed the Harley Davidson style grille and headlights. We also added he chrome running boards. mirrors and bigger wheels. The interior was originally tan cloth. so we changed it completely to gray lariat out of a 2005 F250 we had. Even though truck is now customized (a little XLT. Lariat. and Harley). it mainly is all factory and it’s really hard to ever guess what happened just by looking at the truck.
