1970 Ford Mustang Mach I / Boss 302 Tribute Just completed a 20 month complete ground up build of a 1970 Ford Mustang Mach I / Boss 302 badging tribute Mustang. Car has been engineered to be original but resto-moded with a few tasteful upgrades. Mach I has complete delux Marti report showing is original Competition Yellow. 351C 4BBL. 4 speed roots. Build all original but has a few upgrades to improve look. functionality including:- complete new American Autowire wiring harness. nbsp;- upgraded electronic instrument cluster. nbsp;- engine bay and bottom of car painted with same nice clear coat base coat Competition Yellow as outside of car. /p>- leather front seats improved wider and more foam bolstering. nbsp;- hidden rear speakers in back deck covered in black euro vinyl (not just cardboard). nbsp;- Mustang T-5 5 speed transmission with special hydraulic slave and master clutch setup (easy to service). nbsp;- All four corners have been lowered with new CJPony springs. nbsp;- New chrome 15 inch OEM Magnum 500 wheels with new BFG tires staggered setup and much more- Complete new correct 70's date code 351C all new build 11:1 compression. roller rockers. forged pistons etc. likely between 500 and 600 HP. not dynoed after build so just a guessRest of car built back as original with OEM style rear louvers. spoilers. Boss 302 painted hood stripe with OEM Ford Boss 302 decals. OEM style shaker hood setup. new dash. new carpet. headliner. seats. door panels and most all trim and chrome / stainless. Overall very few parts not new or fully reconditioned on vehicleNote if a new owner preferred the original Mach I styling all that would be required is adding rocker moldings and switching decals from Boss 302 to Mach I. So car kind of gives a lot flexibility now and in future.
