Ford Mustang GT350 2016

THE best Mustang ever built! Period!

I’ve been the prior owner of 7 Mustangs before this one, including 2 GT500’s, and this car is just a huge step up from all prior models. Yes, the handling is amazing, yes the brakes are fantastic, but what really makes this car worth the investment is the sound. Yes, the sound. You never get tired of it. I think the car has a radio and perhaps blue-tooth capability to interface with my phone, but I honestly wouldn’t know. I do know it sounds even more spectacular with the windows down though. That I learned without reading the owner’s manual or playing with some touch screen.

Then there is the 6-speed. As a prior owner of 4 generations of GT-3’s I am a purist when it comes to the manual transmission and the last GT-3 was a total disappointment in this department. Regardless of how great the system was, it still never did exactly what you wanted when you wanted it to. That is never a problem here. The lever to your right is telepathic and direct and there are 3 pedals as god always intended.

Where would I fault this car, well, I’ve never been a big fan of black wheels (but that’s what’s in I guess) and how could they make a GT350 with a blank side? Luckily, this was easily rectified by the wonderful people at American Muscle, who supplied a perfect 60’s vintage appearing side stripe (much better now). I’ll leave aftermarket wheels up to the next guy if so inclined.

This car will provide you with the most fun pulling out of your garage you’ve had in a while..........and get used to the attention.

(Note the front valence is not installed, it is still in the box in the trunk as are all of the original packing plastic pieces and the window sticker carefully preserved)
