I am selling this truck for a friend who can no longer see good enough to drive. This 1975 F250 wrecker was used by a longtime Ford Dealership in Ishpeming Michigan from the time it was new until 2003 when the dealership closed its doors. After purchasing it in 2003 the current owner repainted it and used it gently for the past several years in his classic car junkyard. There was very little rust on the truck and at the time of repaint a small area of the drivers floor got new metal and the passenger side cab corner has a small repair. The cab mounts, door bottoms, inner wheel wells etc are all original and in great shape. The owner coated the undercarriage of the truck with a light coat of oil to preserve it. The rear wheel openings appear to have been enlarged at some point for tire clearance when towing and the work looks professionally done. The lettering on the hood is a decal so it can be removed easily. The interior is all original with the seat having a tear in it and the full floor mat is missing. The dash is all original and in good shape. All lights and gauges work. The radio is missing. The original 360 engine runs like new with no issues. It has never been worked on besides normal maintenance. The 4 speed transmission shifts smoothly as it should with no noise as does the clutch and the rest of the drivetrain. The brakes work as new. The truck runs, drives and rides like a new 75 Ford. The boom is a PTO operated Canfield brand with all new cables and operates as it should. Ready to tow. The boom is mounted on 1/4 inch plate in the bed of the truck. All professionally done at the dealership. THE TORCHES IN THE BACK OF THE TRUCK AND THE PLOW HOIST UP FRONT ARE NOT INCLUDED IN THE AUCTION. All in all this is a very nice truck that is in used condition that you can drive and enjoy today, display it, or put it to work. I am sure I missed something so please ask questions or if serious I can give you the owners phone # to discuss. Will help load and can store up to 30 days once paid for.
