Up for sale is a 1963 Ford Econoline truck (not an F-150---ebay doesn't have a listing for an Econoline). This is a 3 owner truck (1st owner--2nd owner and then his son). Just out of long term storage (since 1980) but started and driven occasionally to keep engine free. This is just a base Econoline with the 170 cu. in. 6 cylinder motor and a 3 speed manual transmission. There is no passenger arm rest and no glove box door as these were both options in 1963 on the base truck. First owner had the truck till September of 1970 then sold to 2nd owner (I have a copy of the title). 2nd owner had the truck till his death in 2009 and then was passed on to his son. Somewhere around 1980 2nd owner painted the truck from it's original white to it's present day tan. Truck was then put into storage till now. Make no mistake, this was not a professional paint job by any means but not too bad for an amateur. The truck has no rust thru on the body or in the bed with the exception of the lower corners of the tailgate and just below them. Thank goodness these are easy fixes because the tailgate is not reproduced. Lights, horn, turn signals and as far as I can tell all gauges work. Radio comes on with a "crackling" sound (the speaker appears to be shot). The truck has the correct front and rear bumpers (rare), the original headliner and rubber floor mat still in place. Truck still has the deflector plate under the motor and has only surface rust on the underside of the truck. If you are looking for a truck to restore or even to make a restomod with a different engine and transmission this would be a great one to start with.
