Description

*Please read full description*
This is my 2004 Ford Expedition XLT with full leather/power seats, power 3rd row seats, front and rear A/C, and cruise control. I would not not hesitate to get in this truck right now and drive it to Alaska if I needed to, its 100% reliable and makes weekly trips to my home in San Antonio and the occasional trip to New Orleans. It needs absolutely nothing, its not a beater truck passed around from person to person over the years. it runs and drives perfect.
MPG breakdown
City 15-17 MPG depending on driving style
Highway <68 MPH you will get 20 MPG!
I am the second owner, the original owner was my best friend that bought it brand new in 2004 and used it primarily to drive from his home in Covington, La to work in New Orleans which is approximately 120 miles round trip, so most are highway miles.
This SUV has been taken care of above and beyond what is required with only synthetic blend or full synthetic oil every 5k miles. The previous owner and I are meticulous about vehicle maintenance so this SUV has many years and miles left, please read everything below as I will describe in detail everything that has been done to it since the day it came off the showroom floor.
Other than regular filter, oil and transmission fluid changes (Yes the transmision was serviced regularly which is rare) the following has been done over the years. A large majority of the work listed below was not from a failure, but as precautionary maintenance to keep it in good reliable working order.
2009 one ignition coil went out, therefor all 8 were changed along with the spark plugs, this work was performed by the Ford dealer in Covington, La.
2011 Front passenger hub and bearing replaced. (Bearing was bad) Replaced with OEM factory hub.
2012 Full A/C replacement done by Caliber Collision in San Antonio Tx. (A/C compressor went out)
2012 Headlights replaced. others were getting hazy and dull.
2012 4 New tires
2015 New Battery
2015 New Alternator replaced. (Went out)
2016 New front struts (Others were fine)
2016 Front lower ball joints were replaced, uppers and the tie rod ends were tight with no place what so ever.
2016 The three other hubs and bearings were replaced. (Bearings were fine, this was precautionary maintenance) They were replaced with high quality hubs made by Detroit Axle, not cheap Chinese ones.
2016 All 4 rotors and brake pads were replaced, as well as the brake system flushed.
I have kept a lot of the records, but not all, feel free to look the truck over and we can go for a nice long drive if you like. As I said before, this SUV is reliable and needs absolutely nothing mechanically, it does because of the age and milage not perfect, it has normal wear and tear with a scratch on the rear gate and some very mild hail damage.
I am honest and in no way will try to hide any defects or problems, I don't need, or really want to sell it, but my wife and I do not need it any longer. When you come look, I will go over ALL the minor imperfections which are few.
Currently I am in Frisco (Stone Briar area)
