Description

1997 Ford F-250 XLT Extended Cab. The truck is originally from Florida so there is very little rust. All cab corners and rocker panels are solid. There is 378,000 on the chassis but around 250,000 on a new motor from Ford. 3 inch down pipe to 4 inch exhaust to help it breath better. Hearing the turbo whistle of a 7.3 Power Stroke through the exhaust is second to none. It has a 6 position tuner that I’ve used only to get better mpg. It has a four-inch lift sitting on 325/70r18’s that are 10 ply which are rated correctly for a HD truck. The 35 inch tires gives the truck a great stance and that up in the air feel, but is still functional for everyday use. The wheels and tires were a $1800.00 investment that gives this F250 a great look. I’ve put more than $6000, not including the wheels and tires, in suspension, breaks and rotors, break lines, calipers, ball joints, rear leaf springs, steering main shaft, both door pin bushing kit, u-joints, and front end work and it was done professionally. It drives straight down the road and handles nicely. I have receipts. The interior is in good shape for a 19-year-old truck. The color scheme is rare and compliments the look nicely. It has two small cracks on the dash (typical in OBS Ford trucks) above the radio, but no rips or tears in the seats. The truck has an aftermarket radio and speakers. The hood was recently purchased and pulled off another truck. I didn’t want to buy one from China because their metal quality is not equal to Detroit metal. It took a while in Northern Indiana to find one without being rusted. The original was creased because of a bad hinge and someone not taking the time to fix it right. If you have any more questions, please contact Jeremy on my cell at 574-99Three-2six4zero. The truck is for sale locally and I have the right to end the auction at any time. If the reserve is met then the truck will be sold to the highest bidder and will not be pulled off eBay.
