1950 FordF2 Express Truck
This rare, hard to find F2 truck captures the true spirit Henry Fordenvisioned when the first Ford's rolled off the assembly line. It drips nostalgia andbenefitsfrom anexhausting, noexpensespared nut and bolt restoration. Itis an absolutely stunning, over restored, Ford pick up that has enjoyed the samelovingownership for the past 32 years. It was bought new in 1950 near Akron Ohio and served on a family farm from 1950 through 1980's. The second owner bought it as a nice solid used truck and enjoyed it just as it was for the next 20 years doing what ever it needed to keep it good order. By then it wasofficiallya classic and had been replaced long ago with newer trucks for daily use. So he decided it was time to give her a proper restoration. He spent the next two years and tons of money making this truck the show piece you see today. It received a complete body off, nut and bolt restoration to better than new condition. No detail missed alwaysemphasizingoriginality. The only replacement metal used was NOS. Everything else was taken apart and restored or replaced with high quality Ford parts. I cannot imagine finding a morebeautifulexample of this desirable vintage truck. He even restored the original lic. plate and tools. Every inch of this truck looks as good as the almost perfect paint and chrome you see in the photos. The underside is fully detailed and restored. The inner fenders and behind the seat is just as well finished. His attention to the areas one would never seespeaksvolumes to the quality of this restoration. It is finished in it's original color Meadow Green. The engine and four speed transmission are original to the truck and run as it did new. All the lights light as new including tobeautifullyrestored originalgaugesand radio lights. It runs down the road straight and is easy to handle. It brakes well and stops straight. Please take time to look over the photos as they are a very good representation of the condition of this truck. If anything it looks better in person.I encourage you to come and inspect it for yourself if you can. If not have athirdparty do it for you. It is well worth your time if you want to best truckavailable. A real trophy winner right out of the box. Please do not bid until you have asked all your questions, completed inspections and are sure what its worth to you.I have sold many classic cars on eBay and I respect how difficult it can be to buy cars via the internet. Every car I have ever sold oneBayresulted in a happy owner feeling like they got a great deal andpositivefeedback. This will be no exception. My reserves are always fair and well below what similar vehicles sell for through auctions and in classified ads. In other words I fully intend for this to sell so if you are truly in the market and ready to buy you are in luck. I do reserve the right to end the sale at any time if the truck sells prior to the end of the auction. Which happens often. So if you are interested in buying outright please call as well. I can be reached for questions and appointments to show it at:614-352-3434JeffThanks and good luckI require a NONREFUNDABLE $1,000 deposit as soon as the auction ends(no exception)Balance in cleared funds is due within 5 days or prior to pick up, Which ever comes first.
