Description

I hate to have to get rid of this truck, but we are trying to work towards buying a house... Even though this F-150 doesn't have all of the new technology, it's been great for me. In the 2+ years that I've owned the truck, I've put some good money into changing all of the fluids, and fixing any minor mechanical problems that have come up. Just to name a few of the recent updates that I've had done:

  • July, 2014
    • Replaced both Front Lower Ball Joints
    • Replaced both Front Upper Control Arms
    • Replaced both Front Coil Springs
    • Replaced Steering Column Shaft
    • Engine Performance Service (Fuel System Flush)
  • February, 2016
    • Installed New Battery
    • Full Engine Tune-Up. All 8 New Spark Plugs. Clean Throttle Plate/Housing. Clean Battery Terminals.
    • Installed New Fuel Filter
    • Fuel Injector Cleaning
    • Replaced Ignition Coil #1
    • Replaced Intake Manifold Gasket
    • Replaced Upper and Lower Radiator Hoses
    • Cooling System Flush
  • July, 2016
    • Replaced both Transmission Cooler Lines (2 Year MFG Warranty)
  • August, 2016
    • Replaced Drive Belt Tensioner
    • Replaced Both Pulley Cap Idlers (Smooth)
    • Replaced Idler Pulley (Grooved)
    • Replaced Drive Belt (Serpentine)

Although I put some decent money into these repairs, this truck is super solid, and should be good to go for many more years... It pains me to part with this reliable F-150, but I'm hoping that it goes to a good home. It would make a great work truck, an affordable (and safe) first vehicle for a teen, orthe perfectevery day commuter vehicle.

The previous owner installed an aftermarket, in-dash DVD/CD player, which even allows for a TV tuner. For a while, I was able to attach my older iPhone to the RCA connectors, but since I upgraded the iPhone software, it no longer will display the navigation. There is a good possibility that the newer iPhones, Androids, or others would be compatible. It's a really great way to display GPS navigation, and the screen retracts back into the dash. Imade the Composite Audio/Video cables easily accessible on the dash, and currently have a plug that goes into a headphone jack to play music from almost any source. The nice part about this, as opposed to the "new" dash screens, is that you could hook up a Nintendo if you really wanted to... If it starts raining during your camping trip, you won't be bored!

There are some cosmetic issues, mainly with the seats, but that can easily be fixed with some cheap seat covers. It hasn't bothered me, so I never purchased them. As you can see in the pictures, the driver's side front seat has come apart at the seam, so the padding is exposed. There are some minor stains on the rest of the front bench seat, and 2 small burn holes, but nothing too bad. If you're like me, and are looking for comfort, reliability, and a solid truck to get things done, an affordable used F-150 is the way to go. Not many vehicles hold their value like the F-150.

If you have any questions about the truck, want to see any additional specific pictures, or want to see it in person and take a test drive, please let me know. I'm happy to provide any additional info that might help you make a good decision.

The vehicle will be available for local pick-up, but I will consider shipping, depending on the final selling price, or if the buyer is willing to pay. A $250 deposit is due upon the closing of the auction, and the remainder should be paid within 7 days. I will accept a cashier's check, money order, or other payment option that offers protection for the buyer and seller.

I hope to hear from you soon, although I'll be sad to see you drive away in my F-150... Happy bidding!

*Mileage will change slightly, as this is my main/only vehicle until sold. Odometer in picture (95937.1 mi) as of 9/3/16.
