Up for auction is this nice 1931 A wide bed pickup. I lowered the reserve, hoping this will help sell this pickup. I'm selling off part of my Model A collection, and this is the first to go. I bought this A just as you see it in the pictures. It has new tire, tubes, a new carburator. I rebuilt the distributor, with new parts. I replaced the steering wheel with a new one. It has the spare tire on drivers side fender, as original. It has the indented firewall. I also replaced the gas line and filter. I have hundreds of dollars in reciept for parts that the previous owner has purchased. I had used it for local shows, meets. Starts right up, runs well. The history of this A is as follows; I bought this truck as just as you see it in the pictures. I was told by the previous owner, he bought it from the fellow who had it painted, and had interior replaced. He had purchased it from the second owner. This would make me the forth owner. This truck came out of the Hudson Valley area of NY. As for the condition of this A, the fenders are done in a dark brow, body is tan, Interior was done very close to the original style. The roof is vinyl, chrome front bumpers, chrome radiator shell, spare tire mounted on the drivers front fender, as original. One of the previous owners had it repainted locally (have pictures). Also have pictures of the truck when it was painted black. It's a good truck to go to local shows, etc. It runs well. I can not say if this is a body off restoration, however have pictures showing when being painted, doors, fenders, where off. Regarding the engine, I was told it was done over by one of the owners, however can not verify if rebuilt, but runs great, nooil leaks. Before bidding, look over the pictures, and ask questions. I'll be most happy to answer them. Thanks for looking.
