The car came equipped from the factory with the 289 2bbl engine. C4 Automatic transmission and 3. 50 conventional rear end. After having been driven just 80. 00 miles. the Mustang was given a loving restoration by what was only its 3rd owner. At the time of the restoration. the Mustang retained its original engine. transmission and rear end. The car was a very solid example. needing just a few minor metal repairs to bring it back into top condition. The lower rear quarters were replaced and a small area of the floor under the drivers feet received a replacement panel. Compared to many old Mustangs from this era that require over 75% new metal to get them back on the road. this Mustang was a wonderful survivor.
