THIS IS A GROUND UP. ROTISSORIE RESTORATION OF A ’61 FALCON. IT WAS COMPLETELY DISASSEMBLED. MEDIA BLASTED. AND EPOXY PRIMED THROUGHOUT THE ENTIRE CAR. MODIFICATIONS WERE MADE TO THE ENGINE COMPARTMENT TO ACCEPT THE 360 H. P. (AT THE FLYWHEEL) 351W. INNER FENDER WELLS WERE MODIFIED TO ACCOMMODATE THE POWER STEERING RESERVOIR AND BATTERY. 2x1x3/16 WALL RECTANGULAR TUBE WAS USED FOR SUB FRAME CONNECTORS AND 1 5/16 O. D. x 1/8 WALL TUBING WAS WELDED TO THE ROCKER PANELS & FRAME JUST BEHIND THE FRONT WHEEL OPENING. THE MAIN FRAME WAS ALSO STIFFENED AT THIS POINT. THE REAR WHEEL WELLS WERE RADIUSED TO ACCOMMODATE LARGER TIRES. MUSTANG II FRONT SUSPENSION WITH TUBULAR A ARMS & POWER RACK. MODIFICATIONS TO THE INTERIOR INCLUDE ADDING BUCKET SEATS. CONSOLE. THREE POINT SHOULDER HARNESS BELTS. PIONEER FM/CD PLAYER. AND CLASSIC AUTO AIR HEAT AND A/C UNIT. CLASSIC INSTRUMENTS “ALL AMERICAN WINGS” SERIES GAUGES WERE INSTALLED IN THE FALCON INSTRUMENT CLUSTER. ALUMINUM DASH TRIM WAS ADDED TO GIVE THE DASH A LITTLE “CHARACTER”.
