Up for sale is one of the coolest shop truck's in the country in my opinion. This 1947 ford truck spent most of its life in the farm fields of Kansas where its biggest danger was not the dreaded rust of the east coast, but trying to out run a tornado. I guess the mighty ford was fast enough to out run a few twisters because the body is in great shape with sun faded paint and a patina you cant fake. Now a flat head ford is no slouch but what do you do when you need a little more speed? Bolt on heads? bolt on intake? NO not in this case the owner sourced a 1957 NE Chrysler 392 Hemi and dropped this fire breathing monster into the trusty little ford truck. Ultimately creating a sleeper that from the outside looks like your run of the mill shop truck, but peg the pedal to the floor and the tires scream for mercy. The truck has a 4 speed OD trans so you can cruise down the highway at 70 and the motor ishumming along at 1800 rpm. The truck has power steering which allows this truck to be driven as a daily driver and all light, gauges and turn signals work as intended. all glass is good and the bed was redone with old farm boards and the battery was relocated to the bed. This car is for sale locally and we reserve the right to end the auction early. We can assist in shipping domestic and internationally.
