I am posting my 2009 Ford F150 Platinum 4x4. It is tuxedo black with two-tone tan and brown interior. Automatic 5.4L V8 with the 3:55 gears. If you are not familiar with the upgrades that come with the Platinum, they are as follows:
- Heated and Cooled front seats
- Dual power front seats
- Dual climate control
- Power folding heated mirrors
- Power folding steps
- Sony sound system with 700w amp and sub under the back seat
- Power sun roof
- Power sliding rear window
- Keyless entry (buttons on the door)
- Built in electronic trailer brake controller
- Steering wheel radio controls
- Sync/USB/Bluetooth and built-in hard drive (save your CD's to the truck memory)
- Back-up camera and sensors
- Tailgate step
- 4 pin and 7 pin trailer connection
There are a few upgrades that I have done to make this a nice, modest, yet functional truck:
- 2.5" Rough Country leveling kit
- Ultra Motorsports 20" wheels
- New tires approximately 5,000 miles ago
- 32" LED light bar hidden behind the grille
- Just installed new switches in the dash for the LED bar
- Just installed a new skull knob in the tailgate step assist bar (pictured)
- New roof rack
- Plasti-dipped rear emblem
- 35% tint on the front to match the rest
- Just installed a new FORD logo on the front grille (old one was faded and peeling)
- Full set of tan WeatherTech floor mats (front and back)
- I have an extra set of black WeatherTech mats for the front along with the original carpet mats
This has been a fantastic truck and the only two issues are that the driver's side power step is stuck in the down position and that the tire pressure monitoring system (TPMS) sensor light is on. The TPMS light stays on because I did not have the sensors rebuilt when I put the new oversize wheels and tires on. I am trying to get the step fixed, but I am not the most mechanically inclined person. It could be a simple bad connection or a bad sensor - I will try to take it to the Ford dealership when my work schedule allows. There are some minor scratches and door dings as you would expect from an 8 year old truck, but it is in overall excellent condition. I typically hand wash and wax this truck at least every other week.
I have owned this truck since November 2013 and bought it from Crossroads Ford in Sanford with 89,000 miles on it. The owner before me was a general contractor. I am originally from Illinois, so we put a lot of highway miles driving back and forth to visit family 2-3 times a year. This is the smoothest riding truck I have owned and has minimal cabin noise at 70mph through the mountains (mostly just hear the roof rack). The 4-wheel drive works great, transmission shifts smooth, AC blows cold, and it runs like a champ. I do not have to sell this truck, but my wife is graduating with her PhD next spring and I would like to buy her a new Ford Explorer as a graduation present. I do owe a little bit on this truck, but the title is clean and I have a clean Carfax along with the original window stickers.
I am asking $24,000 or best reasonable offer. The only trade I would be interested in would be on a 2013 or newer Ford Explorer or a 1992-1997 Ford F150 with the 7.3L motor. Feel free to contact me with questions or offers - the worst that I can say is no. I work rotating shifts, so the best way to reach me is through text. The dog box does not come with the truck, but could be negotiated in with a reasonable offer.
I would prefer not to ship this vehicle and would be willing to travel a reasonable distance to meet anyone.
Thanks for looking!
