2012 Ford Escape V6 4WD

OverviewThis 2012 Ford Escape XLT V6 4WD is AWESOME! I have loved every second of driving this vehicle. All service has been performed on schedule. Have never had any problems with it. Tires are still great, and perform remarkably well in snow. Between the tires and the 4WD I've never gotten stuck in the snow...ever! I had a 2" trailer hitch and wiring installed by the dealer in 2012, which has mostly been used to carry bikes. Some of the black paint is chipped off the edge of the receiver from regular use, as on most of these. The retractable cargo cover is great, and along with the rear tinted windows you can totally hide any cargo you're carrying. The keypad entry system on the driver's side door is fantastic! Between 2012 and 2013 I used this vehicle mostly on the highway, and that's when I put on most of the miles. Since 2013 I've used it once or twice a week to drive to town, plus one highway trip of 2000 miles. I am the second owner. When I purchased it from a dealer in April 2012 it had 13,000 miles on it.
ExteriorThe exterior is in great shape. The finish is super shiny and overall in excellent condition. Any dings are typical of what you'd expect after 4 years. I've had a few chips on the very front that I've touched up with Ford OEM touch up paint. The color matches perfectly. There's one tiny dent (1/2") in the green behind the passenger rear door, and one tiny dent (1/4") in the black trim on the edge of the driver's front door. In 2015, a neighbor backed into this vehicle and dented the driver's side rear door. It was totally cosmetic - no structural damage. The body shop replaced that panel and matched the paint perfectly. There is no indication that anything ever happened. All glass is in excellent condition. A new windshield was installed in late 2015 after a rock chipped the old one. All lights are in perfect condition: very clear, no fogging or fading.
InteriorThe interior of this vehicle is also in great shape. The fabric is excellent: there are some faint spots on the front seats. I have grey, rubber, all-weather floor mats, but also have the original floor mats that have barely been used. I've always kept the cargo compartment mat turned upside-down so the rubber is up, which means the fabric on the reverse side is in great shape. I have the back seat headrests, but I keep them in storage because I rarely have passengers and it is easier to fold the seats down without them. All the interior trim is in excellent condition. It is very easy to keep it clean. There is one small circular spot in one of the center console trays that the finish has worn away. It is barely noticeable as the base color is pretty much the same as the paint color. There are a few scratches on the plastic trim in the cargo area from regular use, and a few small scratches on the rear cup holders of the center console.
The stereo is great. This vehicle is not equipped with SYNC, but I have used a small bluetooth device to connect my iPhone and it works perfectly. There's also a 3.5mm auxiliary input jack. I haven't used the CD player much, but when I have it sounds great. The A/C and heat function perfectly: A/C is super cool and the heat is yummy warm. The vehicle is equipped with SiriusXM satellite radio, but I have never had a subscription.
OtherI have the two original keys with remote lock/unlock, rear gate, and panic buttons. Both function perfectly. All original accessories (jack kit and emergency fuel adapter) and owner's manual are included.
TitleI still have a lein on this vehicle since my purchase was financed in 2012, so the title is still held by Bank of America. I'll likely finish my payments before the sale, so will have the title in hand. I will confirm this with the buyer before any sale is finalized.
