This Hertz Executive owned 2014 Ford Mustang Hertz Penske GT (HPGT) is being offered by the original owner to one lucky Mustang enthusiast/collector! Hertz Car Rental in cooperation with Roger Penske and Penske Racing commissioned Roush Industries to customize and up fit 150 units of 2014 Ford Mustang GT Coupe Premiums to this special Edition Hertz Penske GT. 140 of the 150 cars produced were equipped with automatic transmissions and delivered to the Hertz car rental fleet throughout the United States as part of the Hertz "Adrenalin Collection" Most. (but not all!) of the 140 rental fleet vehicles with automatic transmission survived their time as a rental vehicle and are now being quickly bought by collectors at premium prices. Hertz also produced Ten (10) of these special vehicles with six speed manual transmissions. and offered these cars for sale only to Hertz and Penske employees through a special selection process (these cars have never been in the rental fleet). This car is serialized #2 of 150 (and #2 of 10 with Manual trans). Second in desirability only to car #1. which is housed in the lobby of Hertz Global Headquarters and will never be offered for public sale. The special collection car has been personally signed by Roger Penske (In person. dash panel was not removed and signed offsite). This vehicle was originally shipped from Ford Flat Rock. to Roush in Livona. MI. nbsp;to Penske Pennsylvania where Roger personally signed . then to Hertz HQ in Park Ridge NJ to the Hertz Executive who purchased the vehicle. These Ten manual transmission models are the only known vehicles in the collection to be signed in person by Roger Penske. This vehicle was garaged in New Jersey and never driven in inclement weather. then shipped to Florida in enclosed transport truck in December 2014. Since that time vehicle has been continually garaged in Florida and driven in good weather only.
