Yes. it's the 6. 0 Powerstroke diesel but before you start crying know that we have serviced the injectors as well as installed a brand new EGR delete kit (only because we were in there already not because it needed one) plus it has four wheel drive with 3. 73 limited slip differentials! Once you delete that EGR cooler all the "problems" with a 6. 0 go away so now all you have to do is keep it serviced every 5. 00 miles with Ford filters like you should and enjoy the nearly 100 extra horsepower and other upgrades over the older 7. 3 diesels. This is a LARIAT not a stripped-down work truck so it's fully loaded too with leather seats. Stereo 6CD changer. power seats on both sides. alloy wheels. tinted windows. and more! There's a tough bedliner though it apparently hasn't seen much use. It has tow mirrors that can be pulled out for extra coverage when towing as well as factory allow wheels with all center caps in place. We are also going to install a new pair of LED tow mirror signal lights. The tires are big 285-series units that give it the proper stance and have great tread. It even has the spare tire underneath which for some reason isn't as common as you might think. We've been using this truck to move campers around so when we tell you that it's ready to hit the road. we aren't just whistling Dixie. we've put it to the test! We would not hesitate to drive this truck ANYWHERE. With only 150k miles the POWERSTROKE diesel is barely broken-in & runs STRONG. We've had them with nearly 600. 00 miles and no problems! We have had our mechanic go over this truck and fix anything that needed fixing so it'll be ready to use. One like Ford’s F-250 Super Duty. with its legendary power stroke turbo-diesel V8. But you know this year there is a new chapter in that legend. an all new PowerStroke powertrain. which Ford claims makes the Super Duty stronger. quieter. and cleaner. Is this the hardest working truck of the year? Ask a Ford truck fan. and they’ll tell you that the folks in Dearborn have carved out yet another top notch heavyweight workmate. this 2003 Ford F-250 Super Duty pickup. And like kids in a candy store. workmen are scrambling to get a hold of this Gobstopper of pickups. But. having changed little in looks since its 1999 debut. what makes the latest Super Duty such a blue plate special? Well. it’s a tasty two-for. the all-new 6. 0 liter. PowerStroke turbodiesel V-8 engine. and 5-speed TorqShift automatic transmission. This 32-valve pushrod giant produces 325 horsepower and 560 pound feet of torque. That’s more of both than its larger 7. 3-liter predecessor. and GM’s Duramax. It’s bested only by the manual transmission version of the Cummins diesel in the Dodge Ram. But when it comes to refined power delivery. the PowerStroke is the hands-down winner. Yet despite a reduced rumble. the PowerStroke. with a 373 rear. easily moved our 6. 70 pounds of Crew Cab off the line. and keeps it trucking.
